Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme

Introduction

• Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme is the major health care scheme of Government of Rajasthan.
• It was launched on 01-05-2021.
• The main objective behind launching Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme is to provide basic medical health care facilities to people of Rajasthan free of cost.
• Medical, Health and Family Welfare Department of Rajasthan Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme is also known by some other names in the state like "Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana" or "Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Swasthya Beema Scheme".
• Government of Rajasthan is providing free of cost medical services to all residents of Rajasthan under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme.
• People of Rajasthan can avail the benefit of free of cost medical services and treatment up to Rs. 25,00,000/- in any Government or Empaneled Hospital.
• Initially the amount of free of cost medical treatment is Rs. 5,00,000/-.
• But on 01-05-2022, Rajasthan Government increased this amount to Rs. 10,00,000/-.
• After lot of analysis, Government of Rajasthan further increased the limit of medical treatment under Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme to Rs. 25,00,000/- on 10-02-2023.
• Now every eligible residents of Rajasthan can avail the benefit of free of cost treatment and medical services up to Rs. 25 Lakh in any Government Hospital or Empaneled Private Hospital.
• Beneficiary can get the free of cost treatment in any 778 State Government Hospital, 8 Central Government Hospital and 521 Private Hospital as per their choice.
• Medical charges incurred on 5 Days before admit and 15 Days after discharge will be covered under Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme of Rajasthan Government.
• There is no minimum or maximum age limit in order to avail the benefit of scheme.
• Registration under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme is not need for those families who are covered under National Food Security Act and Socio Economic Caste Census List 2011.
• Those beneficiaries who are not covered under free registration will have to pay yearly premium of Rs. 850/- to get themselves registered under this scheme.
• Eligible beneficiaries can register themselves under Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme by visiting Rajasthan Government's SSO Portal.

Benefits

• The following benefits will be provided to people under Rajasthan Government's Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme :-
  • Free of Cost Medical Treatment up to Rs. 25,00,000/-.
  • Accidental Insurance of Rs. 10,00,000/-.
  • Free OPD Services and Diagnostic Tests.

Eligibility

• Beneficiary should be a Permanent Resident of Rajasthan.
• Beneficiary should not be a Government Employee.
• Free of Cost Registration in Scheme for following Families :-
  • Families Registered in NFSA.
  • Families Registered in SECC 2011.
  • Small and Marginal Farmers.
  • Contractual Employee of State Government.
  • Covid 19 Ex Gratia Recipient.
• Any Family other than Free Category can also avail the benefit by paying premium of Rs. 850/-.

Beneficiary Category

• Government of Rajasthan divides people of Rajasthan into two category under Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme.
• Registration of First Category people are free of cost they don't need to pay any premium amount.
• But Second Category People have to pay half amount of premium of Rs. 850/- per year for registration under Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme.
• Other Half Amount of Premium will be paid by Rajasthan Government.
• Below mentioned are the category of beneficiaries which are eligible for free and paid premium under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme of Rajasthan Government :-

  Free Premium Beneficiary	Families Covered under National Food Security Act. Families Covered under SECC 2011 List. State Government Contractual Employee. Small and Marginal Farmers. Recipients of Covid 19 Exgratia.
  850/- Premium Paid Beneficiary	Anyone who is not covered under Free Category.

• The following medical facilities will be provided free of cost to all the eligible beneficiaries under Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme :-

  OPD Facility. Bedding Charges. Admission and Nursing Charges. Heart Disease. Cancer. Neuro Surgery. Covid Treatment. Black Fungus. Knee Transplant. Liver Transplant. Heart Transplant. Kidney Transplant. Bone Marrow Transplant. Cochlear Implant. Blood/ Plasma/ Platelets Transfusions. Limb Prosthesis. (Bone Cancer) And Many More.

• A total of 1,41,46,740 families are registered in Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme. The break up of families according to their category are as follows :-

Document Required

• The following documents is needed at the time of registration as well as at the time of availing the benefit of Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme in hospital :-
  • Jan Aadhar Card.
  • Receipt of Jan Aadhar Card.
  • Aadhar Card.

How To Apply

• Registration is mandatory in order to avail the benefit of free of cost treatment under Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme.
• People of Rajasthan can Register themselves under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme by visiting Rajasthan SSO Portal.
• First make an ID or Register yourself on Rajasthan Government's SSO portal.
• Jan Aadhar Card is the essential document needed at the time of Registration.
• Login on SSO portal by using received User Name and Password.
• After Login, Choose Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme from the list of services.
• Then Free (SMF) and Paid option will appeared on the screen.
• People belongs to any of the below mentioned category will have to choose Free (SMF) option :-
  • Small and Marginal Farmers of State.
  • Families Covered under National Food Security Act.
  • Families having Name under SECC List.
  • Contractual Employees of State Government.
  • Recipients of Covid 19 Ex Gratia.
• Then fill the Jan Aadhar Card Number or Receipt Number of Jan Aadhar Card.
• After that the family details of applicant will appear on the screen.
• Choose any family member for OTP verification and Digital Signature.
• Digital Signature will be done after OTP verification.
• After Digital Signature, Beneficiary can print the policy document of Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme.
• Paid beneficiary has to pay the premium of Rs. 850/- for registration under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme of Rajasthan Government.
• Whereas no premium will be paid to free (SMF) option beneficiary.
• Registration Process of paid beneficiary is same as Free Beneficiary.
• Paid Beneficiary will print their policy document after payment of premium.
• Apart from Rajasthan SSO Portal, Beneficiary can also register themselves under Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme by visiting E Mitra Kendra.

How to Take Benefit of Scheme in Hospital

• Beneficiary can avail the benefit of free of cost medical treatment up to 25 Lakh under Rajasthan Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme by visiting any government or private empaneled hospital.
• Any of the below mentioned document is mandatorily needed at the time of visiting the hospital :-
  • Jan Aadhar Card or Bhamashah Card or Card Number or Receipt of Jan Aadhar.
  • Aadhar Card. (Which is Linked with Jan Aadhar Card)
  • Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme Policy Documents.
• Health Guides present at hospital will help the patient about the OPD and admit process.
• Biometric Verification of Patient will also done by Health Guides.
• TID package will be booked according to the disease of patient and immediate treatment will be started after that.
• Claim under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme will be sent to Insurance Company once the treatment of patient completed.
• Health Guides will take live photo of patient at the time of admission and discharge from hospital.
