About The Scheme

• Chief Minister Free Cancer Chemotherapy Scheme has been launched by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Department of Agriculture, Arunachal Pradesh is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Under this scheme cancer patients will be provided the commonly used medicines for treatment of the disease free of cost.
• The following are the main objectives of the Chief Minister Free Cancer Chemotherapy Scheme : -
  • To provide free chemotherapy for all type cancer at any stage.
  • To reduce the burden of high expenditure of cancer patients.
• The following persons will be eligible under the Chief Minister Free Cancer Chemotherapy Scheme :-
  • Applicant must be a resident of Arunachal pradesh.
  • Regular state government employee and their dependents.
• The following benefits are provided under the Chief Minister Free Cancer Chemotherapy Scheme :-
  • Medicines worth 10 lakhs per person per year (5 lakhs for 6 months) are provided free of cost.
  • Provide Free Consultation and Free Counselling to the Eligible Paitients.
• The benefit of the Chief Minister Free Cancer Chemotherapy Scheme can be availed during the period of entire treatment.
• Eligible Persons Can Avail the benefits of Chief Minister Free Cancer Chemotherapy Scheme by applying in the following manner:-
  • Through Offline Application Form.

Benefits

• The following benefits are provided under the Chief Minister Free Cancer Chemotherapy Scheme :-
  • Medicines worth 10 lakhs per person per year (5 lakhs for 6 months) are provided free of cost.
  • Provide Free Consultation and Free Counselling to the Eligible Paitients.

Eligibility

• The following persons will be eligible under the Chief Minister Free Cancer Chemotherapy Scheme :-
  • Applicant must be a resident of Arunachal pradesh.
  • Regular state government employee and their dependents.

Documents Required

• Below is the list of documents that would be required at the time of registration under the scheme :-
  • ST certificate for APST patients.
  • Permanent Resident Certificate.
  • Aadhaar Card.
  • Passport size photos.

Application Process

• To take advantage of the scheme, the applicant should first apply by contacting the following persons :-
  • State Tertiary Cancer Centre.
  • The Nodal Officer for the Scheme.
• After this, the applicant will have to get the application form of Chief Minister Free Cancer Chemotherapy Scheme.
• Now fill all the information asked in the application form completely.
• Also attach all the necessary documents with the application form.
• After filling all the information, the application form has to be submitted.
• After the application is submitted, the application form will be verified by the concerned officer.
• After the approval of the application form, the applicant will be informed by the concerned officer.
