Bihar Mukhyamantri Vidhyarthi Protsahan Yojana

Introduction

• To encourage minority students in the state, Bihar CM announced a scheme called 'Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana'.
• Under this scheme, students of minority communities who passed their intermediate and matric examination with a first division will receive scheme benefits.
• According to Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana, beneficiary will receive incentive up to Rs. 15,000/-
• This scheme is intended for minority students only because the government have already introduced Mukhyamantri Balika/Balak Protsahan Yojana for other categories.
• The state minority welfare department is the nodal department for the scheme, taking care of its scrutiny and implementation throughout the state.
• To receive the benefits of the scheme, students who have passed their matric and intermediate examination can apply for the scheme.
• However, only students who have secured a first division in their respective classes are eligible for the scheme.
• Beneficiaries can submit applications offline at their district minority welfare department.
• But before that they must verify their application and documents from their school or madrasa.
• It is important for each student to check the scheme eligibility before applying.
• Those who may meet the eligibility criteria can submit their application within the specific timeframe.
• The benefits of the Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana will be credited directly to the beneficiary bank account.

• Under the Bihar Mukhyamantri Vidhyarthi Protsahan Yojana, beneficiary will receive the following benefits: -

Eligibility Criteria

• To receive the benefits of Mukhyamantri Vidhyarthi Protsahan Yojana, applicants must fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria: -
  
  • Applicant must be a domiciled resident of the state.
  • Minority categories applicants are eligible for the scheme.
  • Students must have attained first division in their respective classes (Matric/Fauquania/Inter/Maulvi).
  • Applicants School must be affiliated with Bihar School Examination board/Bihar Madrasa Education board.
