Maharashtra Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Holkar Women Start Up Scheme

Introduction

• Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Start Up Scheme was announced by Finance Minister and Deputy CM of Maharashtra Sh. Ajit Pawar on 28-06-2024 while presenting the supplementary budget.
• The main objective behind starting this scheme is to fund the startups which is led by Women so that women led startups will get boost and productive business growth.
• This scheme also helps the startups of women to be self reliant and independent financially.
• Maharashtra Governments Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Whereas, Maharashtra State Innovation Society is the implementing agency of Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Start Up Scheme.
• This scheme is also known as "Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Mahila Startup Yojana" or "पुण्यश्लोक अहिल्यादेवी होळकर महिला स्टार्टअप योजना”.
• Government of Maharashtra will now support the startups financially which is led by women entrepreneurs.
• Financial Assistance ranging from Rs. 1,00,000/- to Rs. 25,00,000/- will be provided to all startups women entrepreneurs under Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Holkar Women Startup Scheme.
• Startups older more than 1 year are only eligible to apply for financial assistance.
• Registration in DPIIT and MCA is also mandatory to get the assistance.
• If the startup of women entrepreneur has a annual turnover of below Rs. 10,00,000/- then those startups are not eligible to seek financial assistance under this scheme.
• It is also mandatory for women entrepreneur to have at least 51% stake in the company/ startup to get financial assistance.
• Application for financial assistance under Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Women Startup Scheme is available now.
• Women Entrepreneurs can fill the Online Application Form which is available on Maharashtra State Innovation Society website on or before 14th of August 2024.

Benefits of Scheme

• Women led Start Ups registered in Maharashtra will get the following benefits under Maharashtra Government's Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Holkar Women Start Up Scheme :-
  • Financial Support for Start Up will be provided.
  • Financial Assistance ranging from Rs. 1,00,000/- to Rs. 25,00,000/- will be provided to Start Ups.

Eligibility Criteria

• Financial Assistance to support start ups of Maharashtra will only provided to those who fulfill the following eligibility criteria of Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Holkar Women Start Up Scheme :-
  • Women Beneficiary should be a Resident of Maharashtra.
  • Start Up should be Registered with DPIIT and MCA.
  • Start Up should be Registered in Maharashtra.
  • Women Beneficiary should have 51% stake in the Company.
  • Start Up of Women Beneficiary should be more than 1 Year Old.
  • Annual Turnover of Women Beneficiary Start Up should be between 10 Lakh to 1 Crore.

  • Explain the large scale impact of Startup.
  • Turnover Details.
• Upload all the below mentioned documents then.
  
• Preview the filled information thoroughly and then Click on Submit Button to submit the application form.
• Submitted Application Form of Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Start Up Scheme will be scrutinised by the department's official.
• Shortlisted Startups will then called for thorough assessment.
• Financial Assistance will be disbursed to selected startups in their bank account.
• The last to apply online for Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Start Up Scheme is 14-08-2024.
