Haryana Contractor Saksham Yuva Yojana

Introduction

• The state government of Haryana has launched a new scheme known as 'Contractor Saksham Yuva Yojana'.
• With this initiative, the government aims to impart necessary skills among the youth to unlock the doors of new career opportunities.
• The scheme will benefits to those holds degree or diploma in engineering for their professional development.
• Youth talent will get recognition under the scheme and to start their entrepreneurship and self employment journey a monetary support will be provided.
• These young entrepreneurs will not only contribute towards the economic development of the state but also generate new employment opportunities.
• Training under the Haryana Contractor Saksham Yuva Yojana will be provided to 10,000 youths for three months.
• Youth talent will be nurtured by providing them on job training with government department.
• After the completion of training, it will enable youth to work as a contractor.
• Under the Contractor Saksham Yuva Yojana, certified trained youth will be provided contracts worth Rs 25 lakhs.
• Additionally, trained certified youths will also receive an interest free loan up to Rs. 3 lakh for a period of one year.
• For scheme implementation, the government has appointed 'Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Department' its nodal authority.
• Applicants completed their diploma or degree in engineering and are between 18 to 40 years are eligible for the scheme.
• However, it's a must for applicants to qualified in the merit list of CET for Group C and D posts.

Benefits of Scheme

• The government aims to provide following benefits, under its Haryana Contractor Saksham Yuva Yojana : -
  • Three months training to train and up-skill 10,000 youths of Haryana.
  • Interest free loan of Rs 3 lakhs for one year.
  • Trained youths will get contracts up to Rs 25 lakhs.

Eligibility Criteria

• Before applying for the Haryana Contractor Saksham Yuva Scheme, applicants must ensure they fulfill the following eligibility criteria : -
  • Applicants must be native residents of Haryana.
  • Applicants' age should be between 18 to 40 years.
  • Applicants must hold a degree or Diploma in B.E/B.Tech (Engineering).
  • Must have PPP (Parivar Pehchan Patra) ID Card.
  • Must have qualified in the merit list of the CET (Common Entrance Test) for C & D posts.

Documents Required

• When submitting application form for the Haryana Contractor Saksham Yuva Yojana application form, applicants need to produce their following documents : -
  • Aadhaar Card.
  • PPP ID card.
  • Address proof.
  • Academic Documents.
  • Passport Size photograph.
  • Age Proof.
  • CET qualified list and roll number.

How to Apply

• Applicants can apply for the Haryana Contractor Saksham Yuva Yojana through its online application.
• Application forms for Contractor Saksham Yuva Yojana are available on the Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Department.
• On the homepage, users need to select the 'Contractor Saksham Yuva Yojana Registration' tab.
• Users need to enter their Family ID or CET ID.
• After submitting the details, portal will fetch the users details automatically.
• After this, users need to fill the application form with valid details.
• Upload the required documents if required.
• Upon submission, the authorities will verify the applicants detail's and documents.
• Post the completion of the scrutiny process, users will be notified through SMS.
• Moreover, candidates can also track their submitted application request.

Training Charges

• Applicants are required to pay training assessment and certification charges of Rs 26,000/- to the training body, if they fulfills the following conditions: -
  • Applicants with an annual family income less than Rs 3 lakhs are not required to pay any training fee.
  • Applicants with annual family income between Rs 4 to 6 lakhs will pay 50% of the training fee i.e. Rs 13,000/-.
  • Applicants with annual family income more than Rs 6 lakh will pay full amount of the training fee.

Lodging Charges

• Applicants need to pay lodging charges as per the rates and conditions given below : -
  • Rs 375/- per day per trainee will be charged for X category cities/town.
  • Rs 315/- per day per trainee will be charged for Y category cities/town.
  • Rs 250/- per day per trainee will be charged for Z category cities/town.
  • Trainee with an annual family income is less than Rs 3 lakhs are exempted for this charge.
  • Trainee with an annual family income between Rs. 3 to 6 lakhs will pay 50% of the charges.
  • Trainee with an annual family income more than Rs 6 lakhs will be pay full amount as indicated.
