Introduction

• Odisha's newly formed government has announced various schemes during the assembly election.
• As they have taken the charge, it's time to implement these beneficial schemes for the eligible beneficiaries.
• Among such announced schemes, one for BPL girl children known as, ' Mo Medhabi Jhia Yojana'.
• Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries will be provided an assurance certificate worth Rs 2,00,000/-.

Benefits of Scheme

• Under the 'Mo Medhabi Jhia Yojana', beneficiaries will receive the following benefits: -
  • On the birth of a girl child, an assurance certificate of Rs 2 lakhs will be issued.
  • Upon reaching the age of 21, these assurance certificate can be encashed by the girls.

Eligibility Criteria

• In order to apply for the 'Mo Medhabi Jhia Yojana', applicants must first check the eligibility criteria . Since, the detailed information about the eligibility criteria has not been announced yet, the criteria mentioned below are subject to change: -
