Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme

Introduction

• Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme is the major welfare scheme for Girls Students.
• The main objective behind launching Free Cycle Scheme is to encourage Girl Students to complete their basic education.
• Department of Minorities of Uttarkhand Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme is also known by some other names in State like :- "Uttarakhand Nishulk Cycle Yojana", "Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme for Girls" or "Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme for Minority Girls Students".
• Under Free Cycle Scheme of Government of Uttarakhand, Free of Cost Cycles will be distributed among Girls Students of Uttarkhand.
• Free Cycle will only be provided to those Girls Students who passed their Class 8th Examination from Uttarakhand Government School or from Registered Madarsa.
• Girls Students belonging to any one of the following minority community are eligible to get free of cost cycle under this scheme :-
  • Sikh.
  • Parsi.
  • Buddhist.
  • Jain.
  • Muslim.
  • Christian.
• Eligible Girl Beneficiary can apply for free cycle through Application Form.
• Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme Application Form is available at any of the below mentioned office :-
  • District Minority Welfare Department Office.
  • District Social Welfare Department Office.

Benefits of Scheme

• Free of Cost Cycle will be provided to all Eligible Class 8th Passed Girl Students of Uttarakhand under Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme.

Eligibility

• Girl should be a Resident of Uttarakhand.
• Girl should have Passed Class 8th Examination.
• Girl should be a Student of Government School or Registered Madarsa.
• Girl should be belong to any of the below mentioned Minority Community :-
  • Christian.
  • Muslim.
  • Jain.
  • Buddhist.
  • Parsi.
  • Sikh.

Documents Required

• The following documents is needed at the time of applyng for Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme :-
  • Marksheet of Class 8th.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Photo of Applicant.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Income Certificate or BPL Card.
  • Self Declaration Certificate of being a Minority.

How to Apply

• Eligible Girl Beneficiaries can apply for free of cycle under Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme through Offline Application Form.
• Application Form of Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme is available at District Minority Welfare Office of Uttarakhand.
• At present there are only 4 District Minority Welfare Offices in Uttarakhand which are in :- Dehradun, Nainital, Haridwar, Udhamsingh Nagar.
• In remaining 9 District of Uttarakhand, Free Cycle Scheme for Minority is implemented by Social Welfare Department of Uttarakhand Government.
• Collect the Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme Application Form and fill it carefully.
• Attach all the required documents with the application form.
• Now submit the application form along with all the documents in District Minority Welfare Department Office or District Social Welfare Department Office.
• Submitted Application Form of Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme will be verified by the concerned officials.
• List of Selected Girl Students will be prepared after thorough verification.
• Selected Girl Students then get Free of Cost Cycles under Uttarakhand Free Cycle Scheme.
