Madhya Pradesh Free Cycle Distribution Scheme

Introduction

• Most of the Students could not able to join the school because of non availability of school in their area.
• And lots students faces difficulties in going to school situated at other villages.
• Keeping these things in mind, Madhya Pradesh Government started Free Cycle Distribution in State.
• Madhya Pradesh Free Cycle Distribution Scheme was started in the year 2004.
• That time the name of scheme was "Nishulk Cycle Praday Yojana" or "Free Cycle Supply Scheme of Madhya Pradesh".
• Initially, the amount of Rs. 2,400/- will be provided to students to purchase the cycle.
• But from the year 2016, Madhya Pradesh Government is providing cycle to eligible students by themselves.
• Madhya Pradesh Free Cycle Distribution Scheme is also known by some other name like :- "Madhya Pradesh Free Cycle Scheme" or "Madhya Pradesh Nishulk Cycle Vitran Yojana".
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide stable mode of transportation to students who are going school from one village to other.
• Department of School Education of Madhya Pradesh Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Only Students of Class 6th and Class 9th are eligible to get free bicycles under Madhya Pradesh Free Cycle Distribution Scheme.
• But in the year 2023, Government of Madhya Pradesh is providing amount of cycle to eligible students.
• Rs. 4,500/- will be provided to all eligible students to purchase cycle under Madhya Pradesh Free Cycle Distribution Scheme.
• The distance between student's house and student's school should be more than 2 kilometer in order to be eligible.
• Girl Students residing in Hostel are also eligible to get free cycle under this scheme.
• But they have to submit the cycle at hostel once their school is completed.
• Madhya Pradesh Government will provide 18 Inch Cycle to Class 6th Student and 20 Inch Cycle to Class 9th Student.
• Students doesn't have to apply anywhere for Free Cycle under Madhya Pradesh Free Cycle Distribution Scheme.
• School will make the list of eligible students and sent it to the Madhya Pradesh Department of School Education for approval.

Benefits of Scheme

• Free Cycle or Rs. 4,500/- will be Provided to Class 6^th and Class 9^th Students under Madhya Pradesh Free Cycle Distribution Scheme.

Eligibility Conditions

• Student should be a Resident of Madhya Pradesh Government.
• Student should be Studying in any of the following Class :-
  • Class 6^th.
  • Class 9^th.
• Student should be Studying in Rural Area Government School.
• Distance between School and Student's House should be more than 2 Kilometers.

Documents Required

• No Documents Needed to avail the benefit of Madhya Pradesh Free Cycle Distribution Scheme.

How to Apply

• There is no need to apply for Madhya Pradesh Free Cycle Distribution Scheme by Students of Class 6th and Class 9th.
• Concerned Schools will make the list of eligible students.
• Then the Principal or Administrative Staff of School will upload the list of eligible students on Madhya Pradesh Education Department Portal.
• Officials of Education Department of Madhya Pradesh will then verify the list of students.
• The list of selected students will then sent back to concerned schools.
• Then Free Cycle to Students of Class 6th and Class 9th will be distributed at school or at public function as decided by Department of School Education of Madhya Pradesh Government.
