Introduction

• The Smajik Mukti Scheme has been launched by the state Government of West Bengal.
• The scheme was announced by the 'Chief Minister' in front of a gathering of unorganized sector workers.
• The main Objective of this scheme lounching are as follows :-
  • To bring more workers under the Welfare scheme.
  • Distributing their benefits under three schemes.
  • Make good use of available funds.
• The Department of Information and Cultural Affairs is a nodal department of this scheme.
• The government has issued this card for the unorganized sector workers in state.
• The Name of this card will be Samajik Mukti Card.
• The Samajik Mukti Card is a Photo identity smart card .
• This card has been used to provide benefits to workers under three schemes run by the state government :-
  • State assisted scheme of provident fund for unorganized workers(SASPFUW).
  • Buildings and other Construction workers' Welfare Scheme.
  • Motor Transport workers' Welfare scheme.
• 25 lakh beneficiaries in state will be given the card under this scheme.
• The card is issued to all the people who fall in the eligibility criteria.
• The West Bengal government is providing this card for unorganized sector workers.

Eligibility

• Beneficiary should be Permanent Resident of West Bengal.
• The age of Beneficiary Should be between 18 to 60 years.
• The Family Income should not exceed Rs. 65 Thousand /- per month.

• Aadhar Card.
• Pan Card.
• Income Certificate.
• Mobile Number.

How to Apply

• The applicant can apply the Samajik Mukti scheme by filling Offline application Form.
• Offline application Form of West Bengal Samajik Mukti scheme is available nearest District Labour Department office.
• Collect the Application Form and fill it Correctly.
• Attach all the required documents with the application form.
• Submit the West Bengal Samajik Mukti Scheme Offline Application form along with the document in District Regional Labour Department office .
• Received Application forms along with the documents will be verified by the department Officers.
• After this, you can visit the department of Information and Cultural Affairs Office and collect your card.
