Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Ambulance Yojana

Introduction

• Animal Owners faced so much difficulties at the time when their animal got sick.
• Some of the difficulties animal owner face are :- Non Availabilty of Vehicle to take sick animal to veterinary hospital, Non Availability of Veterinary Doctors on Time and many more.
• And in some cases due to loss of crucial time, sick animal does not survive.
• Keeping these difficulties in mind, Government of Madhya Pradesh started a new scheme called "Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Ambulance Yojana".
• It was launched on 01-04-2023.

• The main objective behind launching Pashu Chikitsa Ambulance Yojana is to provide on time treatment to sick animal so that they can not loose their life.
• Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Ambulance Yojana is also know by some other names in the state such as :-
  • "Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Ambulance Scheme".
  • "Madhya Pradesh Veterinary Ambulance Scheme".
  • "Madhya Pradesh Animal Free Treatment Scheme".
• Madhya Pradesh Government will provided free of cost treatment to sick animals at the doorstep of Animal Keepers.
• Free of Cost Treatment under Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Yojana will be provided through Veterinary Mobile Ambulances.
• Around 406 Veterinary Mobile Ambulances is operating and providing treatment to sick animals across Madhya Pradesh.
• Veterinary Mobile Ambulance or Pashu Ambulance is equipped with all the required medicines and equipments.
• In every Mobile Veterinary Ambulance there is One Veterinary Doctor, One Compounder, Driver and his Assistant.
• To provide better services to animal keepers/ owners, a call center is established by Government of Madhya Pradesh.
• This call center has a staff of around 1238 employees and they are attending more than 1200 calls per day.
• Now the Animal Keepers/ Owner will get their animal treated at their doorstep by simply dialing a Toll Free Number 1962.
• After providing information about the sick animal on 1962, a Mobile Veterinary Ambulance or Pashu Ambulance will come at Animal Owners place and provide treatment to sick animal.
• So, Animal Owners/ Keepers will get free of cost treatment for their sick animals under Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Yojana by simply dialing a Toll Free Number 1962.

Benefits of Scheme

• The following benefits will be provided to Animal Owners/ Keepers under Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Ambulance Yojana :-
  • Free of Cost Treatment Service for Sick Animals on One Call.
  • Sick Animal will get Free of Cost Treatment by Veterinary Mobile Ambulance on dialing 1962.
  • Veterinary Mobile Ambulance will provide treatment to sick animal at the house of Animal Owner.

Eligibility

• Animal Keeper/ Owner should be a Permanent Resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• Beneficiary should have its Own Animals.

Documents Required

• Any specific document is not required at the time of availing the service of Veterinary Mobile Unit Ambulance under Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Ambulance Yojana.
• By showing Aadhar Card or telling a Samagra ID is enough for registration and animal keeper will get a free treatment for their sick animal.

How to Apply

• There is no need to apply anywhere to avail the benefit of free treatment of animal under Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Ambulance Yojana.
• Government of Madhya Pradesh choose a very simple way for animal keepers to get a free treatment for their ill animals.
• Animal Keeper just have to dail Toll Free Number 1962 of Madhya Pradesh Government to get the Veterinary Mobile Unit Ambulance at their doors.
• Call Center Operator of 1962 will note the name, address and details of ill animal and forward it to nearest Veterinary Mobile Unit Ambulance.
• Veterinary Mobile Unit Ambulance will reach the address of animal keeper and provide a free of cost treatment to the ill animal of animal keeper.
• The only thing is to do by a animal keeper to get a free of cost treatment for his animal is to just dial 1962 Toll Free Number of Madhya Pradesh Pashu Chikitsa Ambulance Yojana.
