Introduction

• On the Occasion of Deewali on 12-11-2023, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Sh. Bhupesh Baghel announced a new scheme for the Women of State.
• The name of the scheme is going to be "Gruha Lakhsmi Scheme".
• Assembly Elections in Chhattisgarh is going to be held very soon.
• That's why all the political parties announcing new new welfare scheme to woo the voters and make sure their win in upcoming election.
• Gruha Lakshmi Scheme is also the pre poll promise which is going to implement only if congress party win the election and forms the Government in Chhattisgarh again.
• This scheme is also going to be known by some other name like "Chhattisgarh Grah Lakshmi Scheme" or "Chhattisgarh Gruha Lakshmi Yojana".
• Government of Chhattisgarh will provide yearly monetary assistance to Women of Chhattisgarh after re-electing in upcoming elections.
• Financial Assistance of Rs. 15,000/- per Year will be provided to all Women Head of Families under Chhattisgarh Gruha Lakshmi Scheme.
• Congress Party also successfully implement "Karnataka Gruha Lakshmi Scheme" as promised by them before the Karnataka Assembly Elections.
• Similar Scheme has been named as "Telangana Mahalakshmi Scheme" which is promised by Congress Party to the People of Telangana.
• And in Rajasthan also Congress Party announced to start "Rajasthan Gruha Lakshmi Scheme" if re-elected again in state.
• Financial Assistance of Rs. 15,000/- per Year provided under Chhattisgarh Gruha Lakshmi Scheme will going to be disbursed in monthly or quarterly instalments.
• But this Chhattisgarh Gruha Lakshmi Scheme is only the pre poll promise of congress party to win election.
• Gruha Lakshmi Scheme in Chhattisgarh will only implement if Congress Party re-elected in the assembly election and forms a government.

Eligibility

• As per the available information, following women beneficiaries are eligible to avail the benefit of financial assistance under Chhattisgarh Gruha Lakshmi Scheme :-
