Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana

Introduction

• Many people doesn't have their own house in Chhattisgarh.
• To know the exact numbers of homeless and people who resides in Kuccha House, Government of Chhattisgarh conduct an Socio Economic Survey.
• Chhattisgarh Socio Economic Survey was started on 1st of April 2023 and ends on 30th April 2023.
• Report of Socio Economic Survey shows that a total of 10,76,545 families are homeless or residing in Kuccha House.
• So to provide houses to all eligible people, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Sh. Bhupesh Baghel started "Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana" in the State.
• Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana was started in the month of July 2023.
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to help the homeless people of Chhattisgarh to get their own pucca house.
• This scheme is also called "Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Scheme" or "Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme".
• Panchayat and Village Development Department of Chhattisgarh Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Government of Chhattisgarh planned to implement Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana in phase wise manner.
• In first phase, Financial Assistance to construct house will only be provided to those people who are completely homeless.
• According to Chhattisgarh Socio Economic Survey 2023, the number of homeless families in Chhattisgarh State is 47,090 right now.
• Then in second phase of Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana, families who are living in 1 or 2 room Kuccha House will be covered.
• Financial Assistance to construct their own house will be provided to all eligible beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana of Chhattisgarh Government.
• Financial Assistance varies according to the area in which beneficiary is living.
• Rs. 1,30,000/- for construction of house will be provided to those homeless people who are residing in Hilly and Inaccessible Area of Chhattisgarh.
• Rs. 1,20,000/- for construction of house will be provided to those homeless people who are residing in Plain Area of Chhattisgarh.
• Hilly and Inaccessible Area in Chhattisgarh are called IP Area.
• And Plain Area in Chhattisgarh are called Non IP Area.
• So the Financial Assistance to construct a house in IP Area is 1,30,000/- and in Non IP Area is 1,20,000/- under Chhattisgarh Government's Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana.
• Beneficiary can use this financial assistance to built a house on minimum 25 Square Meter of Land.
• It is mandatory to built a kitchen separately.
• Apart from financial assistance to construct house, Work will also provided under MGNREGA.
• Government of Chhattisgarh launched the Official Website of Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana.
• There is no Online Application Form or Procedure of Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana is available.
• Offline Application Form is available at Gram Sabha Office.

Benefits

• Chhattisgarh Government will provide the following benefits to eligible and selected beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana :-
  • Financial Assistance for Construction of House will be Provided to Homeless People.
  • Assistance will be Provided to Construct a House on 25 Square Meter Area.
  • Financial Assistance Provided under Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana are as follows :-

    Area	Amount
    IP (Hilly and Inaccessible Area)	Rs. 1,30,000/-
    Non IP (Plain Area)	Rs. 1,20,000/-

  • Apart from Financial Assistance, Work under MGNREGA for 95 Days in IP Area and 90 Days in Non IP Area will also provided to selected beneficiaries.

Eligibility

• Government of Chhattisgarh sets the below mentioned eligibility conditions in order to provide the monetary assistance for construction of house under Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana :-
  • Beneficiary should be a Permanent Resident of Chhattisgarh.
  • Beneficiary should not get benefited earlier in PM Awas Yojana.
  • Beneficiary should be a Homeless Person.
  • Beneficiary should have Land to Built House on it.

• The following documents is required at the time of availing the benefit of financial assistance for construction of house under Chhattisgarh Government's Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana :-
  • Residence Proof/ Domicile of Chhattisgarh.
  • Certificate of Being a Homeless.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Caste Certificate. (If Applicable)
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Land Related Documents.

How to Apply

• Eligible Beneficiary can apply for financial assistance for construction of house under Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana through Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana is available free of cost at Gram Sabha Office.
• Take the Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana Application Form and fill it correctly.
• Attach all the required documents with the Application Form.
• Now, Submit Application Form of Chhattisgarh Mukyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana along with all the documents in the office of Gram Sabha.
• Concerned Officials will verify the application form and documents thoroughly.
• Spot Inspection will also done by the officers.
• Eligible and Selected Beneficiary will get financial assistance for house construction under Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Nyay Yojana in their respective bank account.
