Introduction

• Government of Chhattisgarh started lots of welfare scheme in the year 2023.
• Chhattisgarh Government tried to provide benefits of these scheme to every needy people of State.
• Now, Government started "Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana" for the welfare of Nirman Shramiks of Chhattisgarh.
• Nirman Shramik are the Construction Workers of Chhattisgarh who involved in various construction activity.
• The main objective behind starting Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana is to provide assistance so that then can build or purchase a house for themselves.
• Labour Department of Chhattisgarh Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Whereas, Builiding and Other Construction Worker Welfare Board is the implementing agency of Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana.
• This scheme is also known by some other names in Chhattisgarh like "Chief Minister Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Scheme" or "Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Housing Assistance Scheme" or "Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Construction Worker Housing Scheme".
• Government of Chhattisgarh provides financial assistance to all eligible construction workers (Nirman Shramik) to construct the house or to purchase a new one.
• Rs. 1,00,000/- will be provided to all selected beneficiary under Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana of Chhattisgarh Government.
• Earlier the financial assistance provided under this scheme is Rs. 50,000/-.
• But on the occassion of his birthday, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Sh. Bhupesh Bhagel increased this amount to Rs. 1,00,000/- under Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana.
• Only those Nirman Shramiks (Construction Workers) are eligible to apply for financial assistance for the construction of house who are registered in board for a minimum time period of 3 years.
• Beneficiary can avail the benefit of financial assistance for house construction in a maximum Land Area of 500 Square Feet in Urban Area and 1000 Square Feet in Rural Area.
• It is mandatory to have own land in the name of Nirman Shramik in order to avail the benefit of financial assistance for the construction of house.
• Eligible Construction Worker can apply under Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana through Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana is available at Labour Department Official Website, Shram Jayate App and on any Lok Sewa Center.

Benefits

• Chhattisgarh Government provides below mentioned benefits to all eligible Construction Workers under Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana :-
  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,00,000/- will be Provided.
  • This Financial Assistance will be provided to Construct a New House or to Purchase a New House.

Eligibility

• The following eligibility conditions is needed to be fulfilled in order to avail the benefit of financial assistance for construction of a house under Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana of Chhattisgarh Government :-
  • Nirman Shramik should be a Permanent Resident of Chhattisgarh.
  • Nirman Shramik should be Registered in Board for Minimum 3 Years.
  • There should be no House in the Name of Nirman Shramik or Any Family Member.
  • Nirman Shramik should have a Piece of Land for Construction of House.
  • Nirman Shramik should have worked at least 90 Days in a Year.
