Introduction

• The newly formed government in Odisha has announced the 'Subhadra Yojana' during the state assembly election.
• As the election is completed, beneficiaries are eagerly awaiting the implementation of the Subhadra Yojana.
• The BJP promised that within three months of forming the government, they will implement these schemes.
• After officially implemented in Odisha, Subhadra Yojana will be known by some other names also such as :- "Odisha Subhadra Jojana" or "Odisha Subhadra Scheme".
• Every eligible women of Odisha will receive a financial assistance of Rs 50,000/-in the form of cash voucher under Subhadra Yojana.
• However, this assistance will be provided to eligible women in the form of a cash voucher.
• Vouchers distributed under the Subhadra Yojana can be encashed over the period of next two years.
• To receive scheme benefits, its a must for all beneficiairy to submit application form for Subhadra Yojana.
• However, details like eligibility criteria, application process, and others are not shared during the scheme announcement.
• Therefore, women excited about the scheme will need to wait once it is implemented and the detailed guidelines outlined by the government.
• But the Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha Smt. Pravati Parida announced on 24-06-2024 that Subhadra Yojana will be implemented within 100 days in whole of Odisha.
• Now as new update on 01-07-2024, Odisha Subhadra Yojana is going to launch on the birth date of PM Narendra Modi i.e. on 17 September.
• This means that Odisha Subhadra Yojana will going to launch on 17-09-2024.
• Application mode is not clear yet whether it is through Online Application Form or through Offline Application Form.
