How to Apply

Introduction

  • Mamta Scheme of Goa Government was initially launched on 01.04.2011.
  • The main objective behind starting this scheme is to improve the Female Child Sex Ration in Goa.
  • Then in April 2015, Government of Goa amended this scheme with new guidelines.
  • Mamta Scheme is also known by some other major names in Goa which are :- "Financial Incentive to Mothers who Delivers a Girl Child "Mamta" or "Goa Financial Assistance to Mothers who Delivers a Girl Child" or "Goa Girl Child Incentive Scheme".
  • Goa Government will provide a financial assistance to those mothers who gave a birth to Girl Child.
  • Rs. 10,000/- as a Financial Incentive will be provided to all eligible Girl Child Mother.
  • Benefit of Financial Incentive to Mothers who Deliver Girl Child will only applicable for the Birth of 2 Live Girl Child.
  • It is mandatory to apply for Goa Mamta Scheme within 45 days of delivering a Girl Child.
  • Only those mothers are eligible to apply for financial incentive who deliver their Girl Child in any Registered Medical Institution.
  • Eligible Beneficiary Women can apply one time financial incentive under Goa Government's Mamta Scheme through Online Application Form which is available on Goa Citizen Services Portal.
  • Beneficiary Women can also apply through Offline Application Form of Mamta Scheme.
  • Mamta Scheme Application Status can be checked by entering Acknowledgement Number on Goa Online Citizen Services Portal.

Eligibility

  • Following Eligibility Conditions is needed to be fulfilled by women beneficiary in order to avail the benefit of financial incentive for delivering a Girl Child under Mamta Scheme of Government of Goa :-
    • Women should be a Resident of Goa for 3 Years or Married in Goa.
    • Birth of a Girl Child should be in Registered Medical Institution.
    • Financial Incentive will only applicable for 2 Girl Child Birth.

Documents Required

  • The below mentioned documents is required at the time of applying for financial incentive under Mamta Scheme of Goa Government :-
    • Aadhar Card.
    • Birth Certificate/ Hospital Report of a Girl Child.
    • Residence Proof of Goa.
    • Bank Account Details.
    • Mobile Number.
    • Voter Identity Card.
    • Income Certificate.

How to Apply

Online Application Procedure

  • Beneficiary Women within 45 days of delivering a Girl Child can apply for Goa Mamta Scheme by filling Online Application Form.
  • Online Application Form of Mamta Scheme is available on Goa Online Citizen Portal.
  • Women Beneficiary has to Register Herself with the Help of Mobile Number and Email ID.
  • Online Citizen Portal will verify the Email ID and Mobile Number through OTP Authentication.
  • After OTP verification, Fill the basic details in the Registration Form of Mamta Scheme.
  • After Registration, Women Beneficiary has to Login on the Online Citizen Portal by entering Email ID and Choosen Password.
  • Choose Mamta Scheme from the services list.
  • Fill the Online Application Form of Goa Mamta Scheme.
  • Upload all the documents as mentioned.
  • Preview the Mamta Scheme Application Form and then Click on Submit Button to Submit it.
  • Online Citizen Portal will then Generate the Acknowledgement Slip of Mamta Scheme.
  • Take a Print Out of the Application Form for future reference.
  • Beneficiary Women can also check the Application Status of Mamta Scheme by entering the Acknowledgement Number.
  • Submitted Application Form and Documents will be scrutinised by the Child Development Project Officer.
  • Then Application Forms of Goa Mamta Scheme will then forward to Directorate of Women and Child Development for further approval.
  • List of Selected Women Beneficiary of Mamta Scheme will be released on the Website of Directorate of Women and Child Development.
  • Selected Women under Goa Mamta Scheme will then received the one time financial incentive of Rs. 10,000/- in their given bank account.
