About The Scheme

• The Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana was launched on 26 February 2020.
• This scheme has been launched by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
• This scheme is implemented in rural areas by Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Ltd (GLPC). 
• In urban areas by Gujarat Urban Development Mission (GULM). 
• The main objective of the Gujrat Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana is :
  • To create 1 lakh Joint Liability Earning and Saving Groups (JLESG)
  • Make 10 lakh women self-reliant by stimulating joint economic activity through these groups.
• Under this scheme each group will pay regular installments of Rs. Interest above 1 lakh has been provided to be paid by the government.
• 50,000 JLESGs in rural areas and 50,000 in urban areas will be covered under the scheme.
•  In which the amount of interest is to be paid to the credit institutions by the government on behalf of the women's group.
• Nationalized Banks, Gramin Banks, Co-operative Banks, Private Banks, Co-operative Societies and RBI for successful implementation of this scheme. 
• Other recognized credit institutions – MFIs are also to be encouraged by the Govt. 
• The following benefits are provided under the Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana:-
  • Loan up to Rs 1 lakh to women at 0% interest rate.
• The following persons will be eligible under the Gujrat Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana :-
  • Must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
  • Only the women of the state.
  • Women who are associated with self-help groups.
  • Women age should be 18 to 59 years
• Through the implementation of this scheme, the women of the state will become self-reliant.

• The following benefits are provided under the Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana:-
  • Loan up to Rs 1 lakh to women at 0% interest rate.

Eligibility

• The following persons will be eligible under the Gujrat Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana :-
  • Must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
  • Only the women of the state.
  • Women who are associated with self-help groups.
  • Women age should be 18 to 59 years
  • Priority to widow abandoned sisters.
  • There should be a total of 10 women in the self-help group.

• Aadhar card.
• Permanent residence certificate.
• Voter ID Card.
• Ration card.
• Income certificate.
• Bank account statement.

Application Process

• Scheme benefits can be availed through the following means :-
  • Nationalized Banks.
  • Gramin Banks.
  • Co-operative Banks.
  • Private Banks.
  • Co-operative Societies.
  • Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
• Get the application form by visiting any one of the above organizations.
• Fill the basic details in the Application Form.
• After Filling the Application Form Attach the required documents as required.
• After filling all the information, the application form has to be submitted.
• After the application is submitted, the application form will be verified by the concerned officer.
• After the approval of the application form, the amount will be transferred to the applicant's bank account.
