Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme

Introduction

• Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme is launched by Himachal Pradesh Government/
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide financial assistance to those students who are financially poor and enrolled in technical course.
• Department of Technical Education of Himachal Pradesh is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Under Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme, Government of Himachal Pradesh will provide monthly financial assistance to all eligible students.
• Financial Assistance provided to students under Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme are as follows :-
  • Rs. 300/- per Month to General Students and Rs. 500/- per Month to SC/ ST Students will be provided to those who enrolled in Technical Degree/ Master Course.
  • Rs. 200/- per Month will be provided to General, SC and ST Students who enrolled in Technical Diploma/ Master Course.
  • Rs. 100/- per Month to General Students and Rs. 250/- per Month to SC, ST, OBC Students will be provided to those who enrolled in ITI Course.
• For Technical Degree/ Master Course and Technical Diploma/ Master Course, Only General, Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Category Students are eligible to apply for scholarship.
• For ITI Course, All Category Students are eligible to apply.
• Seats reserved under Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme are as follows :-
  • 175 for Technical Degree/ Master Course.
  • 75 for Technical Diploma/ Master Course.
  • All Students are Eligible for ITI Course.
• Income Certificate is not mandatory for all Girls Students.
• In ITI Course, Income Certificate is mandatory for General Students but Optional for Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Class Students.
• Students studying in Technical Courses are only eligible to apply for scholarship under Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme.
• Eligible Students can apply for scholarship by filling an Online Application Form of Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme available at National Scholarship Portal.

  Eligibility

  • Applicant Student should be a Permanent Resident of Himachal Pradesh.
  • Applicant Student should be studying in any of the following course :-
    • Technical Degree Course.
    • Technical Master Degree Course.
    • Technical Diploma Course.
    • Technical Master Diploma Course.
    • ITI. (Industrial Training Institute)
  • The Annual Family Income of Student should not be more than Rs. 36,000/- per Year.
  • General and OBC Category Students should have scored minimum 60% marks in their previous exam.

  Document Required

  • The following document is required at the time of applying for Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme :-
    • Residence Proof of Himachal Pradesh.
    • Aadhar Card.
    • Income Certificate.
    • Passport Size Photograph.
    • Caste Certificate. (If Applicable)
    • Bank Account Details.
    • School Leaving Certificate.
    • Education Related Documents from Class 10th Onwards.
    • Documents Related to Admission in Technical Course.
    • Mobile Number.
    • Email ID.

  How To Apply

  • Eligible Students can apply for scholarship by filling an Online Application Form of Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme.
  • Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme Online Application Form is available on National Scholarship Portal.
  • Student has to Register themselves first.
  • After Registration, Login in the National Scholarship Portal with received User Name and Password.
  • Fill the below mentioned details in Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme Online Application Form step wise :-
    • Personal Details.
    • Contact Details.
    • Education Related Details.
  • Upload all the required documents on the portal.
  • Preview the Application Form carefully and Click on Submit Button to submit it.
  • Application Form of Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme along with all the documents will be scrutinized by the concerned officials.
  • Students will be notified through SMS or Email about their selection of scholarship.
  • Scholarship Amount under Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Scholarship Scheme will be transferred directly in the bank account of beneficiary student.

  3. ITI :-

     No Fix Seat Allocation. Scholarship will be provided to all Eligible SC, ST and OBC Students. General Candidates will select on Merit Basis.
