Karnataka Community Based Training Scheme

Introduction

• Community Based Training Scheme of Karnataka Government is the major self employment generation scheme of Karnataka Government.
• The main objective behind launching Karnataka Community Based Training Scheme is to support and encourage unemployed youth of Karnataka to start their own self employment and income generation activity.
• Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation Limited is the implementing department of this scheme.
• Community Based Training Scheme is also called "Karnataka Skill Training Scheme for Minority" or "Karnataka Minority Skill Training Scheme".
• Government of Karnataka will provide training to unemployed youths both men and women from Minority Community in order to make them self reliant.
• Training provided under Community Based Training Scheme includes below mentioned sectors/ services :-
  • Beauty Parlor Course. (Men and Women)
  • Retail Sales.
  • Office Soft Skill.
  • Security Services.
  • Short Hand.
  • Heavy Vehicle Driving.
• Trained Youth under Karnataka Government's Community Based Training Scheme then easily secure the employment in MNC, BPO or can also start their own income generation activity.
• The Annual Income of beneficiary family should be Rs. 96,000/- in Rural Area and Rs. 1,03,000/- in Urban Area.
• Passing Class 10th is mandatory to get training in Karnataka Government's Community Based Training Scheme.
• Only Applicant's from the Age Group of 18 Years to 35 Years are eligible to apply for Training.
• Application for the year 2023-2024 for Karnataka Community Based Training Scheme is live till 03-10-2023.
• Eligible Unemployed Youth can apply for Skill Training through Online Application Form which is available on KMDCL Online Application Management Portal.
• The last date to apply for Community Based Training Scheme is 3rd of October 2023.

Benefits of Scheme

• Karnataka Government will provide below mentioned benefits to Unemployed Youth under Karnataka Community Based Training Scheme :-

  Free of Cost Skill Training will be Provided. Training under Community Based Training Scheme will be provided for the following areas :- Heavy Vehicle Driving. Short Hand. Security Services. Office Soft Skill. Retail Sales. Beauty Parlor Course for Both Men and Women.

Eligibility

• Unemployed Youth should be a Permanent Resident of Karnataka.
• Age of Applicant should be between 18 Years to 35 Years.
• Applicant should be Minimum Class 10th Passed.
• The Annual Family Income of Unemployed Youth should be :-
  • Rs. 1,03,000/- in Urban Area.
  • Rs. 96,000/- in Rural Area
• Applicant should not taken any training in any scheme earlier.
• Applicant should be belong to any of the below mentioned Minority Community :-
  • Muslims.
  • Sikh.
  • Parsi.
  • Jain.
  • Buddhist.
  • Christian.

Documents Required

• The following documents is needed to be uploaded on portal at the time of applying for Training under Community Based Training Scheme of Karnataka Government :-
  • Residence Proof of Karnataka.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • 10th/ PUC/ Diploma or Degree.
  • Minority Certificate.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Self Declaration Form.

How to Apply

• Eligible Minority Community Unemployed Youth can apply for Community Based Training Scheme through Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Karnataka Community Based Training Scheme is available on KMDCL Online Application Management Portal of Karnataka Government.
• Mobile Number and Aadhar Card is essentially required at the time of apply for this scheme.
• Enter the Mobile Number for OTP Verification.
• After Mobile Number Verification Enter Aadhar Card for OTP Verification.
• Now Select Community Based Training Scheme from scheme list after OTP verification.
• Click on Apply Online and Fill the following details step wise in Community Based Training Scheme Online Application Form :-
  • Applicant Details.
  • Contact Details.
  • Documents Upload.
  • Check the Summary.
• Submit the Application Form of Karnataka Community Based Training Scheme by Clicking on Submit Button.
• Submitted Application Form along with Documents will verify by the selection panel.
• Selection Panel will Select the Eligible Application for Training under Community Based Training Scheme of Karnataka Government.
• Selected Unemployed Youth then called for Training in Training Centres.
• Applicant can also check the Application Status of Karnataka Community Based Training Scheme Online.
• KMDCL Online Application Management Portal is open till 03-10-2023 for new application under this scheme.
• Eligible Applicant can apply for Community Based Training Scheme on or before 03-10-2023.
