Introduction

• Many People in Madhya Pradesh has a source of income from agricultural work and dairying.
• But instead of doing so much of hard work, they are not able to increase their work due to financial instability.
• Government of Madhya Pradesh started major welfare scheme for state's small and marginal farmers to stable their income.
• Madhya Pradesh Acharya Vidhyasagar Gau Samvardhan Yojana was started on 01-07-2016.
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to increase the milk production in Madhya Pradesh and providing employment opportunities to the small and marginal farmers of state.
• Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying is the nodal department of this scheme.
• This scheme is also called "Madhya Pradesh Acharya Vidyasagar Gau Samvardhan Scheme" or "Madhya Pradesh Dairy Unit Subsidy Scheme".
• Subsidy on setting up a Dairy Unit up to the cost of Rs. 10,00,000/- will be provided to beneficiaries under Acharya Vidyasagar Gau Samvardhan Yojana.
• Subsidy will only be provided on setting up a Dairy Unit of 5 or More Milch Animals.
• 25% of Dairy Unit Cost or Maximum of Rs. 1,50,000/- will be provided to General Category Beneficiary.
• 33% of Dairy Unit Cost or Maximum of Rs. 2,00,000/- will be provided to Schedule Caste/ Tribe Beneficiary.
• Bank Loan will also available in which beneficiary can avail a Loan of 75% of Dairy Unit Cost.
• Government of Madhya Pradesh will pay the interest on loan up to 5% Interest Rate or Maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per year for a period of 7 years.
• If the interest rate of bank is more than 5% then the remaining percent will be paid by the beneficiary.
• Having a 1 Acre of Agricultural Land is mandatory to avail the benefit of subsidy under Acharya Vidyasagar Gau Samvardhan Yojana.
• All categories of small and marginal farmer can the avail the benefit of this scheme.
• Eligible Beneficiary can apply for subsidy to set up a Dairy Unit of 5 or More Milch Animals by filling the Application Form of Acharya Vidyasagar Gau Samavardhan Yojana.

Benefits of Scheme

• The following benefits will be provided to beneficiaries to set up a Dairy Unit of 5 Milch Animals or More under Madhya Pradesh Acharya Vidyasagar Gau Samvardhan Yojana :-

  Beneficiary can set up a Dairy Unit of Maximum Cost of Rs. 10,00,000/-. Following Subsidy/ Margin Money on Total Dairy Unit Cost will be provided to Beneficiary :- 25% of Unit Cost or Maximum of Rs. 1,50,000/- for General Category Beneficiary. 33% of Unit Cost or Maximum of Rs. 2,00,000/- for Schedule Caste/ Tribe Beneficiary. 75% of Dairy Unit Cost will be provided to Beneficiary as a Bank Loan. Madhya Pradesh Government will pay Interest to Bank on Loan at the Rate of 5% or Maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per Year for 7 Years. In case of Interest Rate of Bank is more than 5%, then remaining interest will be paid by the Beneficiary.

Eligibility

• Beneficiary should be Permanent Resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• Beneficiary should be Small and Marginal Farmer.
• Beneficiary should have Minimum 1 Acre of Agricultural Land.
• Beneficiary should be Registered in Gaupalan Evam Pashudhan Samvardhan Board.
• Beneficiary is willing to Set Up a Dairy Unit of 5 or More Milch Animals.

• The below mentioned is required at the time of applying for subsidy under Acharya Vidyasagar Gau Samvardhan Yojana :-
  • Domicile/ Residence Proof of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Samagra ID.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Ration Card.
  • Voter Identity Card.
  • Caste Certificate. (If Applicable)
  • Documents Related to Agricultural Land.
  • Bank Account Details.

How to Apply

• Eligible Benenficiary can apply for subsidy under Madhya Pradesh Acharya Vidyasagar Gau Samvardhan Yojana by filling an Offline Application Form.
• Application From of Acharya Vidyasagar Gau Samvardhan Yojana is available free of cost in any of the below mentioned offices :-
  • Gram Sabha.
  • Janpad Panchayat.
  • Veterinary Officer.
  • Animal Husbandry Department.
• Collect the Application Form and fill it carefully.
• Attach all the required documents with the Application Form.
• Submit the Application Form of Madhya Pradesh Acharya Vidyasagar Gau Samvardhan Yojana in the same office from where it was collected.
• In the initial stage revenue officer will verify the land details of beneficiary and submit its report.
• After that, Veterinary Officer will scrutinized the application form and documents and forward it to Gram Panchayat after that.
• After Gram Panchayat approval, Application Form of Acharya Vidyasagar Gau Samvardhan Yojana will be forwarded to Agricultral Standing Committee for final approval.
• Then the Application Form of beneficiary will be forwarded to bank for the sanctioning of loan.
• After banks approval, the 75% amount out of total cost of project will be transferred in the bank account of beneficiary.
