Rajasthan Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme

Introduction

• Rajasthan Government launched lots of scheme for the welfare of people to give them monetary relief.
• Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme is one of the major welfare scheme of Government of Rajasthan.
• It was started in the year 2023.
• The main objective behind launching Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme is to provide monetary relief to people of Rajasthan.
• People faces so much difficulty to purchase the gas cylinder due to increased prices.
• To give relief to people, Government of Rajasthan is going to provide subsidy on Gas Cylinder.
• Under Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme, Government provides subsidy on purchase of gas cylinder per month.
• Rajasthan Government refunded the amount of gas cylinder after deducting Rs. 500/- from it.
• This means, Beneficiary first have to purchase the gas cylinder on actual price from the gas company and then Government refund back the amount as subsidy after deducting Rs. 500/-.
• Like this Beneficiary received the Gas Cylinder at a cost of Rs. 500/-.
• Subsidy on One Cylinder in One Month is provided under Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme.
• This scheme is also called "Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Yojana" or Rajasthan Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme".
• It is to be estimated that more than 76 Lakh people will get benefit from this scheme.
• On 06-06-2023, Chief Minister Of Rajasthan Sh. Ashok Gehlot transferred the subsidy amount in the bank account of 14 Lakh Beneficiaries.
• Beneficiary can call on 181 in case of any help needed for Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme.
• Eligible Beneficiary can register themselves by visiting the nearest Mehngayi Camp and avail the benefit of subsidy on cylinder under Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme.
• Registration of Beneficiary will be done through Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme Application Form.

• The following benefits will be provided to registered beneficiaries under Rajasthan Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme :-
  • Gas Cylinder will be Provided at Rs. 500/- per Cylinder.

Eligibility

• Beneficiary should be a Permanent Resident of Rajasthan.
• Beneficiary should have Janaadhar Card.
• Beneficiary should have Domestic Gas Connection.
• Beneficiary should be belong to BPL and a beneficiary of Ujjwala Yojana.

Documents Required

• The following documents is required at the time of registration in Mehngayi Rahat Camp for Rajasthan Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme :-
  • Residence Proof of Rajasthan.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Janaadhar Card of Applicant.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Gas Connection Book.
  • Bank Account Details.

How to Apply

• Eligible Beneficiary can avail the benefit of Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme by visiting their nearest Mehngayi Camp.
• Registration of Beneficiary will be done by filling the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme Application Form at Camp.
• Officials present at camp will help the beneficiary to fill the application form.
• Gas Connection Number and Janaadhar Card is mandatorily needed for registration under Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme.
• After Registration, Beneficiary has to purchase the Gas Cylinder on Original Cost.
• Subsidy per Cylinder after deducting Rs. 500/- will be transferred in the bank account of registered beneficiary.
