Introduction

• The Uttar Pradesh Matribhumi Yojana is started by the Uttar Pradesh government in the year 2024.
• The main objective of this scheme is to helping different parts of the state grow socially and economically.
• Through this scheme, everyone in Uttar Pradesh, whether they're individuals or groups, can get involved in making their area more prosperous by taking part in development projects.
• This scheme will also increase the standard of living
• Under the scheme, individuals who invest in projects approved by the government will receive 40% of the total cost as subsidy.
• Uttar Pradesh Matribhumi Yojana is also known by other names, such as "Uttar Pradesh Matribhumi Arpan Yojana" and "Uttar Pradesh Matribhumi Scheme".
• The main developmental activities covered under this scheme include:
  • Construction of school and intermediate college classrooms or smart basic and class
  • Community buildings
  • Primary health center (to be approved and established by the medical department) Sub-medical center building
  • Anganwadi-noon meal storage house
  • Library
  • Solar energy, street light, drinking water system, LED light,etc.
  • Construction/O&M of animal breeding centre.

Benefits of Scheme

• Under the Uttar Pradesh Matribhumi Yojana, every individual and organization in the state can contribute to the development of their area.
• Projects such as construction of schools, hospitals, and installation of smart classrooms in schools are included in this scheme.
• Individual/Organizations are required to bear 60% of the total project cost, while the remaining 40% will be borne by the Urban Development Department.

Eligibility Criteria

• To apply under the Uttar Pradesh Matribhumi Yojana, the applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Any individual in the state who wishes to contribute to the development of their region is eligible to apply for this scheme.
• Organizations in the state are also eligible to apply for scheme applications.

How To Apply

• Individuals or organizations can apply for the Uttar Pradesh Matribhumi Yojana through online application form.
• To submit the online application form of Uttar Pradesh Matribhumi Yojana, applicant need to visit the official website of Uttar Pradesh Matribhumi Yojana.
• Applicant must first register themselves on the online portal of Uttar Pradesh Matribhumi Yojana.
• After completing registeration, login details will be sent to the registered mobile number.
• After logging in, the applicant will be redirect in the online application form screen.
• After filling in all the details in the application form, the "Next" button must be clicked to proceed.
• After that, the applicant will need to fill in information about the scheme, including all the information that the applicant wishes to contribute to that project.
• Click on submit button.
• If the project is approved by the concerned department, only then the applicant can complete the further process.
• To view the approved project, click on "All Projects ".
• If the project is approved, the applicant can pay 60% of the amount.
• Here, the applicant can decide whether to pay the amount in installments or at once.
• After checking all the details again, the applicant will have to submit the application.
• After approval, the applicant will have two options to start the work:
  • First, the applicant and the selected agency can start the work and the government will help where approval is needed.
  • Second, the work will be started by the concerned department through the process of tender.

• The following development projects are to be undertaken under this scheme:-
  • School rooms/Smart class
  • Community Hall, Marriage Hall (Barat Ghar), Skill Centre
  • Primary Health Centre(Approved by Department of Heath and Family Welfare), Sub HC, beautification, upgradation, installation of equipments and machinery, etc
  • Anganwadi centre: kitchen and dining area, storage room.
  • Library, Auditorium.
  • Sports Complex, Gymnasium, installation of equipments and machinery, Open gym, etc.
  • CCTV camera, Surveillance System, Public Address System.
  • Crematorium System.
  • Water Recycling System, Sewerage/Sewage Treatment System, drainage system, solid waste management, etc.
  • Beautification of Ponds, Drainage System, Water conservation work.
  • Bus Stand, passenger shed.
  • Solar energy, street light, drinking water system, LED light,etc.
  • Construction/O&M of animal breeding centre.
  • Fire Service Centre.
  • Infrastructure and Marketing for rural artisans.
  • Development of Milk collection centre/ Bulk milk cooler and related committees.
  • Development of pastures.
  • Works for elimination of poverty and achievement of sustainable development goals.
  • Other development/public utility works.
