Haryana Disability Pension Scheme

Introduction

• Haryana Disability Pension Scheme was started by Government of Haryana in the year 1981.
• Earlier, this scheme is known by the name "Haryana Nishakt Jan Pension Yojana" in which Disability Pension of Rs. 50/- per month will be provided to all eligible beneficiaries.
• Haryana Government then increased the pension amount from time to time.
• Haryana Disability Pension Scheme is also popularly known by some other names in state which are :-
  • "Haryana Disabled Person Pension Scheme".
  • "Haryana Divyang Jan Pension Yojana".
  • "Haryana Disable Pension Scheme".
• Directorate of Social Justice and Empowerment is the nodal department of this scheme.
• The main objective behind launching Haryana Disability Pension Scheme is to provide financial assistance to those person who are not able to earn money for livelihood due to their disability.
• Government of Haryana is providing monthly financial assistance to all eligible disabled beneficiary of Haryana State.
• The amount of Monthly Pension provided by Haryana Government under Disability Pension Scheme is Rs. 2,750/- per Month.
• All Disabled Beneficiary who has a Disability of 60% of above and above 18 years of age are eligible to get monthly pension under this scheme.
• Disability Certificate is the mandatorily needed document at the time of applying.
• Disabled Beneficiary can choose the application procedure to apply for disability pension as per their ease.
• Both Online and Application Procedures are available to apply.
• Online Application Form of Haryana Disability Pension Scheme is available at Antoydaya Saral Portal.
• And Offline Application Form of Haryana Disability Pension Scheme is available at Directorate of Social Justice and Empowerment District Office.

Benefits

• Monthly Disability Pension of Rs. 2,750/- per Month will be provided to Disabled Beneficiary under Haryana Disability Pension Scheme.

Eligibility

• Application should be a Resident or Haryana OR Should be Residing in Haryana for 3 Years.
• Applicant should be Disabled Person.
• The Disability of Disabled Person should be more than 60%.
• The Age of Disabled Person should be18 years or more.
• The Monthly Income of Applicant should be less than equal to Monthly Income of Unskilled Labour.
• The following Disability Conditions are applicable for disability pension :-
  • Low Vision.
  • Blindness.
  • Leprosy Cured Person.
  • Locomotor Disability.
  • Mental Illness.
  • Mental Retardation.
  • Hearing Impairment.

• Domicile of Haryana or 3 Year Residence Proof of Haryana.
• Disability Certificate.
• Any Document for Age Proof.
• Aadhar Card.
• Income Certificate.
• Voter Identity Card.
• Passport Size Photo.
• Bank Account Details.
• Mobile Number.

Online Application Process

• Disabled Beneficiary can apply for monthly pension under Haryana Disability Pension Scheme through Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Haryana Disability Pension Scheme is available at Antyodaya Saral Portal of Haryana Government.
• Register is must for every disabled beneficiary before filling the main application form.
• Login on the same portal after registration to fill the main online application form of disability pension scheme.
• Choose Haryana Disability Pension Scheme from the List of Services/ Schemes.
• Fill the Online Application Form.
• Upload the below mentioned documents on the portal :-
  • Residence Proof of Haryana.
  • Disability Certificate.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Bank Account Details.
• Preview the Application Form before clicking on Submit Button.
• Click on Submit Button to Submit the Application Form of Haryana Disabled Person Pension Scheme.
• Application Form along with all the documents will be thoroughly checked by the concerned department officials.
• Monthly Financial Assistance of Rs. 2,750/- per month as a Pension under Haryana Disability Pension Scheme will be provided to beneficiaries in their given bank account of after verification.
• Disabled Beneficiary can check the status of their Haryana Disability Pension Scheme Application through following ways :-
  • Send SARAL<space><Application ID> to 7738299899 or 9954699899.
  • OR Visit the Antyoday Saral Portal and Check Application Status by entering Application ID.

Offline Application Process

• Eligible Disabled Beneficiary of Haryana can also apply for disability pension through Offline Application Form.
• Haryana Disability Pension Scheme Offline Application Form is available at Haryana Government's Directorate of Social Justice and Empowerment District Office.
• Take the Application Form and fill it correctly.
• Attach all the needed documents with the Application Form.
• Now Submit the Haryana Disabled Pension Scheme Application Form along with all the documents in the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment District Office.
• District Social Welfare Officer of Haryana Government will scrutinized the Application Form and Documents.
• Monthly Pension of Rs. 2,750/- will be credited in the given bank account of Disabled Beneficiary.
