Introduction

• Farmers faced lot of difficulties while doing agricultural work.
• The main problem farmer faced is the menace of stray animals and monkeys.
• Most Farmers protect their agriculture field and crop from stray animals by fencing the field from all over.
• But due to high cost of wire fencing and poor financial condition, some farmers are not able to install wire fence in their agricultural field.
• To provide assistance to those farmers, Himachal Pradesh Government started "Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojana."
• It was started in the year 2919.
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to support farmers financially so that they can install wire fence in their field and protect their crop from stray animals.
• Agriculture Department of Himachal Pradesh is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Mukhyamanti Khet Sanrakshan Yojana is also called "Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Scheme" or "Chief Minister Khet Sanrakshan Yojana".
• Under this scheme, Government of Himachal Pradesh will provide subsidy on installing wire fence in the agricultural field.
• 80% Subsidy on Total Cost of Wire Fencing will be provided if Applied by Single Farmer.
• 85% Subsidy on Total Cost of Wire Fencing will be provided if Applied by Group of 3 Farmers or More.
• Remaining amount of total cost will have to contribute by the farmer himself.
• Farmers can also apply in Group of 3 or More for wire fencing subsidy under Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojana.
• Subsidy will be provided on below mentioned type of wire fencing only :-
  • Barbed Wire Fencing with Angle Iron or RCC Post.
  • Chain Link Fencing with Angle Iron or RCC Post.
  • Composite Fencing with Solar Powered Electricity.
• Eligible Farmers can apply for wire fence subsidy under this scheme by filling any of the below mentioned application forms :-
  • Himachal Pradesh Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojana Online Application Form.
  • Himachal Pradesh Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojana Offline Application Form.

Benefits

• Subsidy will be provided to eligible farmers on fencing the Agricultural Land.
• 80% Subsidy will be provided on Total Cost of Wire Fencing for Single Farmer.
• 85% Subsidy will be provided on Total Cost of Wire Fencing for Group Farmers.

Eligibility

• Applicant should be a Permanent Resident of Himachal Pradesh.
• Applicant should be a Farmer.
• Farmer should have Cultivable Agriculture Land.
• Farmers can also apply for subsidy in a group of 3 or more.

  • Aadhar Card.
  • Caste Certificate. (If Applicable)
  • Documents Related to Agricultural Land.

Online Application Process

• Farmer Beneficiary can apply for subsidy for wire fencing under Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojana through Online Application Form.
• Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojana Online Application Form is available at Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Department's DBT Portal.
• Farmer Beneficiary has to Register first.
• Following details is to be filled in the Registration Form :-
  • Farmer Name.
  • Aadhar Card Number.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Email ID. (Not Mandatory)
• Login on the Portal to fill the Application Form after Registration.
• Choose Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojana from scheme list.
• Fill the below mentioned details in the Online Application Form of Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojana :-
  • Personal Details of Farmer.
  • Contact Details.
  • Agricultural Field related Details.
• Upload all the required documents after filling all those above mentioned details.
• Preview the Application Form and Click on Submit Button to Submit it if no changes needed.
• Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Department Officials will scrutinized the received application form and documents.
• Subsidy for wire fencing for farmer's agriculture field will be transfer in the bank account after verification.

Offline Application Process

• Interested Farmers can also apply for subsidy on wire fencing by filling Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojana is available at the Block Office or Department of Agriculture District Office.
• Application Form of Khet Sanrakshan Yojana is completely free of cost.
• Fill the Application Form and attach all the required documents with it.
• Submit Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojana Application Form along with all the documents in Block or District Agriculture Department Office.
• Concerned Officials will scrutinize the received application form and documents.
• Subsidy for wire fencing under Mukhyamantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojana will be transferred in the given bank account of farmer after verification.
