Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme

Introduction

• On 27th August 2023, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Sh. Shivraj Singh Chauhan announced to start Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme in Madhya Pradesh.
• Now, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh completed his promise by starting Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme in Madhya Pradesh from 1st of September 2023.
• The main objective behind starting Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme is to provide relief to Women of Madhya Pradesh financially so that they can manage their household expenses gently.
• Department of Women & Child Development of Madhya Pradesh Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme is also known by some other names in State such as "Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Yojana" or "Madhya Pradesh Cylinder Refilling Scheme" or "Madhya Pradesh Cylinder Refilling Yojana" or "Madhya Pradesh Gas Refill Subsidy Scheme".
• Government of Madhya Pradesh will provide Subsidy on Gas Cylinder to every eligible Women Beneficiary in a month.
• After Subsidy, Women Beneficiary will get Gas Cylinder at Rs. 450/- under Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme.
• Subsidy will be applicable for only 1 Gas Cylinder per Month.
• Women Beneficiaries will get 1 Gas Cylinder Refill at Rs. 450/- every month.
• But they have to purchase the Gas Cylinder from Oil Company on regular/ actual price.
• After that, Madhya Pradesh Government will refund back the remaining amount after deducting Rs. 450/- and credited the amount directly in the bank account of women beneficiary.
• Women Beneficiary of Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana and Pradhanmantri Ujjawala Yojana are only eligible to get subsidy on gas cylinder refill under Gas Refill Subsidy Scheme of Madhya Pradesh Government.
• Subsidy under Madhya Pradesh Gas Cylinder Refill Scheme will going to credited into the bank account of beneficiary from 25-09-2023.
• In order to avail the benefit of Gas Cylinder Refill on Subsidy Basis in Madhya Pradesh, Beneficiary has to register themselves first under Madhya Pradesh Cylinder Refilling Scheme.
• Registration of Cylinder Refilling Scheme of Madhya Pradesh will be done through by filling Registration Form on Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Portal or by physically visiting the Ladli Behna Yojana Registration Centers.

Benefits

• Government of Madhya Pradesh will provide below mentioned benefits to all women beneficiary under Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme :-
  • Per Month Subsidy will be Provided on Refilling of 1 Gas Cylinder.
  • 1 Gas Cylinder at a Cost of Rs. 450/- will be Provided in a Month.
  • Subsidy will Directly Credited in the Bank Account of Beneficiary.

Eligibility

• Women Beneficiary should be a Permanent Resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• Women Beneficiary should have LPG/ Ujjawala Connection in her Name.
• Beneficiary of Ladli Behna Yojana is also Eligible for Free Gas Refill.

• The below mentioned documents is required at the time of registering for Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme of Madhya Pradesh Government :-
  • Samagra ID.
  • LP Connection ID.
  • Ladli Behna Registration Number.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Bank Account Details.

How to Apply

• Eligible Women of Madhya Pradesh can apply for Gas Cylinder Subsidy under Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme through Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme is available on Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Portal.
• Registration in Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme is mandatorily needed in order to avail the monthly free gas refill of one cylinder in Madhya Pradesh.
• Only Samagra ID and LPG Connection ID is needed to register in Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme.
• Apart from Online Registration, Women Beneficiary can also Register themselves for Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme by visiting those centers where Registration of Mukhyamanrti Ladli Behna Yojana is going on.
• After Registration, Oil Companies will forward the List of Eligible Women for Gas Subsidy under Madhya Pradesh Free Gas Refill Scheme to Government of Madhya Pradesh.
• Women Beneficiary can check their name in selected women list of Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Refill Scheme on Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Portal from 25th of September 2023.
• Women Beneficiary has to purchase the gas cylinder from Oil Company on regular price.
• Government of Madhya Pradesh then refund the remaining amount as a subsidy directly into the back account of women beneficiary.
