Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Pump Yojna

Introduction

• Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Pump Yojna was launched in 2019 by Government of Maharashtra.
• Under this scheme Government of Maharashtra will provide 1,00,000 Solar Pumps to the eigible Farmers.
• The usage of solar powered pumps will be very economical to farmers and hence will reduce financial burden on them.
• This wil reduce the usage of Diesal and Electric pumps which have higher cost of running.
• For the installation of the solar pumps Government will bear 90-95% of the cost of pump.
• This scheme will enable Farmers to irrigate thier lands in daytime.
• Mukhyamantri Saur krushi Pump Yojna is agreat initiative in reducing enviornmental pollution.

Eligibility

• Farmer should be Resident of Maharashtra.
• Farmers should be having farmland with assured source of water.
• Farmers should not be having conventional electricity connection for pumps.
• Farmers should not be getting electricity benefits through any scheme previously.
• Famers whom have applied for new electricity connection are eligible under this scheme.
• Beneficiary farmers of "Dhadak Sinchan Yojna" are eligible under this scheme.
• Farmers from villages which are not electrified by MSEDCL.

For 3HP and 5HP solar powered pumps

• 3HP pumps are available to famers having farm land upto 5 acres and 5HP pumps are available to farmers having farmland above 5 acres.

For 7.5HP solar powered pumps

• 7.5HP pumps are available to farmers habing farm land for more than 5 acres.
• Water source from the pumps must be well or tube well only.
• The depth of source of water for the pumps must not be more than 60 metres.

Benefits

• Deployment of solar powered pumps by Government of Maharashtra will be Phase wise
  First phase- 25000
  Second Phase- 50000
  Third Phase- 25000
  All the pumps will be deployed in three years.
• After installation of solar pumps additional provision for 2 DC LEDs, 1 Fan & socket for mobile charging will be provided to the farmers.
• Day time irrigation Facility.
• Priority will be given to farmers belonging to Remote and Tribal area
• All the solar pumps will be provided to eligible farmers at a subsidized cost.

How to Apply

• To apply for Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Pump Yojna eligible farmers need to apply Online
• Visit online on MSEDCL Solar Portal website.
• Click on the "Apply" tab.
• Fill up the complete information in the form.
• Upload copy of Required documents (Reder Documents Required).
• After Submisssion of online application Survey demand will be issued from the field office and beneficiary will be notified accordingly.

Features

• 7.5HP Solar pumps will not given on Well and Tube well Belonging to Category of "Exploited" by GSDA..
• 7.5HP Solar pumps will not given on Bore well coming under rock area.
• Paid pending consumers having Infrastructure cost of less than 2.5 lakhs will be prioritized in establishing solar pumps in his Farm.
• More than 10 vendors of Solar powered pumps are empanelled across each district of Maharashtra.
• The guarantee Period of DC Solar Water Pumping System is 5 years and Solar PV panel is 10 years.
• For complaints regarding non working of the pump, beneficiary can register the complaint at MSEDCL Call Center
