- Uttarakhand Sushma Swaraj Award was started by Uttarakhand Government in 2020 by the then Chief Minister Teerath Singh Rawat.
- Then from the very next year in 2021, the first Uttarakhand Sushma Swaraj Award will be given.
- This Award is given in the name of Late Smt.
Public Provident Fund(PPF)
- Scheme duration 15 years
- Interest rates of F.D. rates which keeps changing every year as declared by year
- Per year payment from Rs. 500- Rs. 1.5 lacs
- You can withdraw from 7th year onwards
- Income tax benefit of 80-C under old Income tax regime
- Interest is tax 100% income tax free
- If not redeemed after 15 years keeps earning interest.
