Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme

Introduction

• There are lakhs of farmers in Rajasthan who directly or indirectly depends on Agriculture Activity.
• All the farmers do lots of physical activity in their young age while performing Agricultural Works.
• But it is not easy to do same physical work once they attain the old age.
• This can directly affect their family income and most of the time they suffers to fulfill their daily needs.
• Keeping these things in mind, Rajasthan Government started Old Age Pension Scheme for Old Age Farmers of Rajasthan.
• Original Name of this Scheme is "Rajasthan Laghu Evam Seemant Krishak Vridhjan Pension Yojana".
• But this scheme is also know by some other names like :- "Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme" or "Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Vridh Kisan Pension Yojana" or "Rajasthan Chief Minister Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme".
• Rajasthan Government started Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme in the year 2019.
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide financial support to old age farmers of Rajasthan.
• Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Rajasthan Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• Government of Rajasthan will provide financial assistance as a monthly pension under Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme.
• All the Eligible Farmers will now get monthly pension of Rs. 1,000/- per Month under this scheme.
• Age Criteria for Male and Female Farmers are different.
• Women Farmer Beneficiary whose Age is 55 Years or More are eligible to get monthly pension under this scheme.
• Whereas, Male Farmers whose Age is 58 Years or More are eligible for old age pension.
• Eligible Old Age Farmers of Rajasthan can avail the benefit of monthly pension under Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme through Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme is available on Rajasthan SSO Portal.
• Old Age Farmers of Rajasthan can also apply for Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme by visiting their nearest E Mitra Centre.

• The following financial assistance as a monthly pension will be provided to all Eligible Old Age Farmers of Rajasthan under Laghu Evam Seemant Krishak Vridhjan Pension Yojana :-
  • Monthly Pension of Rs. 1,000/-.

Eligibility

• Government of Rajasthan sets the below mentioned eligibility conditions for per month pension under Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme :-
  • Beneficiary should be a Resident of Rajasthan.
  • Beneficiary should be a Farmer.
  • The Age of Women Farmer should be 55 Years or More.
  • The Age Male Farmer should be 58 Years or More.

• The following documents are required at the time of applying for monthly pension under Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme :-
  • Jan Aadhar Card.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Age Proof.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Bank Account Details.

How to Apply

• Eligible Women Beneficiary can apply for Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme of Rajasthan Government through 2 below mentioned ways :-
  • Through E Mitra Centre.
  • Through Rajasthan SSO Portal.

Through E Mitra Centre

• Eligible Old Age Small and Marginal Farmers can also apply for per month pension under Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme by visiting their nearest E Mitra Kendra/ Centre.
• Visit the E Mitra Kendra along with the Jan Aadhar Card.
• E Mitra Kendra Agent will fill the Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme Online Application Form on behalf of Old Age Farmer.
• Farmer has to pay a nominal Application Fees of Rs. 33/- to the E Mitra Kendra Agent.
• Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme Application Form will then verify by the Officials of Nagar Palika or Nagar Nigam in Urban Area and by Tehsildar or Naib Tehsildar in Rural Area.
• Sub Divisional Officer or Block Development Officer will give the final sanction order of pension.
• After that, the per month pension will be transferred in the bank account of Farmer Beneficiary.

Through Rajasthan SSO Portal

• Old Age Farmer Beneficiary can apply for pension under Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme Government of Rajasthan through Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme is available on Rajasthan Single Sign On (SSO) Portal.
• Farmer Beneficiary has to Register themselves first on SSO Portal of Rajasthan.
• Jan Aadhar Card is essentially required at the time of Registration.
• SSO Portal will send the User Name and Password on the registered mobile number of farmer.
• Login in the SSO Portal with the received Username and Password.
• Choose RAJSSP after Login.
• Click on Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme Application Form.
• Fill the Personal Details, and Contact Details in the Online Application Form of Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme.
• Upload all the documents on the portal.
• Preview the Application Form thoroughly and Click on Submit Button to Submit it.
• Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme Application Form along with all the documents will verified by the Officials of Nagar Nigam or Nagar Palika in Urban Area and by Tehsildar or Nayab Tehsildar in Rural Area.
• After Initial Verification, Application Form then forwarded to Block Development Officer or Sub Divisional Officer for final approval.
• Monthly Old Age Pension of Rs. 1,000/- under Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme will then transferred in the bank account of beneficiary.
• Farmer Beneficiary can also check the Application Status of Rajasthan Old Age Farmer Pension Scheme on Rajasthan Social Security Pension Portal.
