Scheme Introduction: A Brief Overview

Chhattisgarh Krishak Jeevan Jyoti Yojana is a farmer welfare scheme of the Government of Chhattisgarh, implemented through the Energy Department and Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL), that provides electricity-related financial relief to eligible farmers using agricultural irrigation pumps. Farmers with pumps up to 3 HP are eligible for up to 6,000 units of subsidised electricity per year, while those using pumps above 3 HP and up to 5 HP can receive up to 7,500 units per year.
