Mode of Apply

Introduction

  • Karnataka Ganga Kalyana Scheme is the major welfare scheme of Karnataka Government for farmers of state.
  • Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation Limited is the nodal department of this scheme.
  • The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide free bore well facilities to farmers of Karanataka who don't have any irrigation facility on their land.
  • Karnataka Government will now provide the facility of digging the bore wells free of cost in farmer's agricultural field for better irrigation facility.
  • Apart from free of cost digging of bore wells, free of cost pump sets and free of cost electrification of bore well benefits will also provided to all eligible farmers under Karnataka Government's Ganga Kalyana Scheme.
  • Ganga Kalyana Scheme is not available for all farmers of Karnataka.
  • Only farmers belongs any of the minority community are eligible to apply for free of cost bore well digging under Ganga Kalyana Scheme :-
    • Muslims.
    • Sikhs.
    • Parsis.
    • Jains.
    • Christians.
    • Buddhism.
  • All minority community small and tenant farmers are eligible to apply for free boring under this scheme.
  • Group of farmers can also apply for free bore well facility for common use under Ganga Kalyana Scheme.
  • Electrification of bore well will be done by any Electricity Supply Company. (ESCOMs)
  • Each farmer should have 1 Acre 20 Gunte to 5 Acre of Land to apply for free of cost boring under this scheme.
  • The main focus of this scheme is to provide irrigation facility to rural area farmers.
  • This is a fully subsidised scheme and farmers have not to pay any amount for boring.
  • Farmers whose Annual Family Income is more than Rs. 96,000/- are not eligible under Ganga Kalyana Scheme.
  • Application for the year 2023-2024 is started for Ganga Kalyana Scheme of Karnataka Government.
  • Eligible Farmers can apply for Ganga Kalyana Scheme till 3rd October 2023.
  • The last date to apply for Ganga Kalyana Scheme is 03-10-2023.
  • Eligible Beneficiary can apply through Online Application Form of Ganga Kalyana Scheme which is available on Karnataka Online Application Management System Portal.
  • Farmers can also apply though Offline Application Form of Ganga Kalyana Scheme for free of cost boring in their agricultural field.

Eligibility

  • Applicant should be Resident of Karnataka.
  • Applicant should be a Small or Tenant farmer.
  • Minimum Land Holding of Farmer should be 1 Acre.
  • Age of Farmer should be between 18 Years to 55 Years.
  • The Annual Family Income of Farmer should not be more than Rs. 96,000/-.
  • Applicant Farmer should be belong to any of the following minority community :-
    • Muslims.
    • Jains.
    • Christians.
    • Sikhs.
    • Parsis.
    • Buddhism.

Document Required

  • Farmers of Karnataka will required the below mentioned documents at the time of applying for free of cost bore well in agricultural field under Ganga Kalyana Scheme :-
    • Residence Proof of Karnataka.
    • Caste Certificate.
    • Minority Certificate.
    • Income Certificate.
    • Aadhar Card.
    • Land Holding Details.
    • Small and Marginal Farmer Certificate.
    • Passport Size Photo.
    • Bank Account Details.
    • Self Declaration Form.

Online Application Procedure

  • Eligible Farmer Beneficiary can apply for free of cost boring in agricultural field under Ganga Kalyana Scheme through Online Application Form.
  • Online Application Form of Ganga Kalyana Scheme is available on Karnataka Online Application Management System Portal.
  • Enter your mobile number and verify the OTP to login.
  • Fill the following details in the Ganga Kalyana Scheme Online Application Form :-
    • Personal Details.
    • Contact Details.
  • Upload the required documents on the portal.
  • Check the Application Form and Click on Submit Button to Submit it.
  • Ganga Kalyana Scheme Application Form and all the documents will be sent to selection panel for further consideration.
  • Ground Inspection will also done by the officials.
  • List of Eligible Farmers selected for free of cost boring under Ganga Kalyana Scheme will be made then.
  • Beneficiary Farmer will be informed through SMS about their selection or rejection.
  • The last date to apply for Ganga Kalyana Scheme is 03-10-2023.
  • Eligible Beneficiary can apply for free of cost boring under Ganga Kalyana Scheme of Karnataka Government on or before 03-10-2023.

Offline Application Procedure

  • Farmers can also apply for free of cost boring in their agriculture field under Karnataka Ganga Kalyana Scheme through Offline Application Form.
  • Offline Application Form of Ganga Kalyana Scheme of Karnataka Government is available free of cost in District Office of Department of Agriculture or in District Office of Minorities Development Corporation Limited.
  • Collect the Application Form and fill it properly.
  • Attach all the required documents with the Application Form.
  • Now, Submit the Ganga Kalyana Scheme Application Form along with all the documents in the same office from where the application form was collected.
  • Concerned Officials will verify the received application form and documents.
  • Officials will also do the ground inspection of farmer's agricultural field.
  • Then, List of Selected Farmers of Ganga Kalyana Scheme will be made by the officials.
  • Selected Farmers will be informed through SMS on their Mobile Phone.
  • Ganga Kalyana Scheme last date was 03-10-2023.
