Introduction

• Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana is major educational reform scheme of Delhi Government.
• It was launched on 07-09-2021.
• The main objective behind starting Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana is to encourage financially poor students for further education by providing them financial assistance.
• Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe Welfare Department is the nodal department of this scheme.
• This scheme was previously known as Delhi Free Stationery Supply for SC/ST/OBC.
• Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana is also well known by some below mentioned names :-
  • "Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scheme".
  • "Delhi Scholarship Scheme for SC/ ST/ OBC Students".
• Yearly Scholarship will be provided to Students studying from Class 9th to Class 12th under Delhi Government's Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana,
• Rs. 5,000/- per year will be provided to Class 9th and Class10th students.
• Whereas Rs. 10,000/- per year will be provided to Class 11th and Class 12th students.
• Scholarship will be only provided to students belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Class.
• Those students are not eligible under Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana whose family annual income is more than Rs. 8,00,000/-.
• Income Certificate is not mandatory for those students who secure more than 75% Marks.
• Repeaters Students in a particular class are not be eligible for scholarship.
• It is mandatory for students to secure minimum 50% marks in previous class for Class 9th and Class 10th Scholarship and 60% Marks in previous class for Class 11th to Class 12th Scholarship.
• Elgibile Students can apply for scholarship under Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana by filling Online Application Form which is available on Delhi E District Portal.

Benefits of Scheme

• The following financial assistance as yearly scholarship will be provided to selected students under Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana :-

  Class	Scholarship Amount
  9th to 10th	Rs. 5,000/- per Year.
  11th to 12th	Rs. 10,000/- per Year.

Eligibility for the scheme

• Student should be Resident of Delhi.
• Annual Family Income of Student should be below Rs. 8,00,000/-.
• Student should belong to any of the below mentioned caste :-
  • Schedule Caste. (SC)
  • Schedule Tribe. (SC)
  • Other Backward Class. (OBC)
• Student should have scored below mentioned minimum marks :-
  • 50% marks in previous year for Class 9th to Class 10th Scholarship.
  • 60% marks in previous year for Class 11th to Class 12th Scholarship
• Student should be studying in class 9th to Class 12th in any of the below mentioned schools in Delhi :-
  • Central Government Schools.
  • Delhi Government Schools.
  • Government of Delhi Aided Schools.
  • Government of Delhi Recognized Schools.
  • Government Local Bodies Schools Schools.

• Domicile Certificate of Delhi.
• Aadhar Card.
• Passport Size Photo.
• Caste Certificate.
• Income Certificate.
• Bank Account Details.
• Previous Year Mark Sheet.
• Any one Document for Residence :-
  • Ration Card.
  • Driving License.
  • Voter ID.
  • MTNL Landline Bill.
• Mobile Number.
• Student Identity Card.

How to apply for Scheme

• Eligible Students can apply for scholarship under Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana through Online Application Form.
• Online Application Form of Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana is available on Delhi E District Portal.
• Student has to Register himself/ herself first.
• Aadhar Card is mandatory for Registration.
• Delhi E District Portal will send the User Name and Password on Student Mobile Phone.
• Student has to Login then with the received User Name and Password.
• Choose Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana from Apply for Services/ Scheme tab.
• Enter your personal details like Category, Caste Certificate Number and Annual income etc.
• Enter your school detail like present class and previous year marks.
• Enter your Bank Details like Account Number, MICR code. Now click on Continue.
• After that document upload page will appear. Upload the following essential documents:
  • Residence Proof.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Caste Certificate.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Mark Sheet of Previous Year.
  • Student ID Card.
• Preview the Application Form of Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana and Click on Submit Button to Submit it.
• Student will receive an OTP on registered number.
• Enter the OTP and Acknowledgement Receipt will be generated, take print out of it.
• Submit receipt copy and needed documents to school for verification.
• Concerned Officials will verify the submitted Application Form and Documents.
• After verification, selected students will get yearly scholarship under Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana.
• Students can also check the Application Status of Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana Online.
