Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana

Introduction

• Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana is the major welfare scheme of Rajasthan Government for Farmers of State.
• It was started in the year 2023.
• The main objective behind launching Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana is to stablize the income of farmers by providing them free of cost electricity.
• This scheme is also called "Mukhyamantri Free Electricity Scheme for Farmers" or "Rajasthan Chief Minister Farmer Free Electricity Scheme".
• Earlier, Government of Rajasthan is providing electricity to farmers at 90 paisa per unit.
• But after launching Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana, Every Farmer will get free of cost electricity across the state.
• 2,000/- Unit of Electricity per month is the maximum consumption unit under this scheme.
• This means, zero electricity bills will only be provided to those farmers who consumes less than 2,000 units of electricity per month.
• It is to be estimated that more than 11 lakhs farmers will get benefit under Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana.
• Farmer has to register themselves to avail the benefit of zero electricity bill.
• Registration of Farmers will be done in Mehngayi Rahat Camp under Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana.
• Eligible Farmers can visit their nearest Mehngayi Rahat Camp and get themselves registered under this scheme.

Benefits

• The following benefits will be provided to farmers under Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana :-
  • Free of Cost Electricity will be provided for Agricultural Consumption.
  • Farmers will get Zero Electricity Bill on Electricity Consumption of 2,000/- Unit per Month.

Eligibility

• Beneficiary should be a Permanent Resident of Rajasthan.
• Beneficiary should be a Farmer.
• Beneficiary should have Janaadhar Card.
• Beneficiary should have Electricity Connection in its Agricultural Land.

• The following documents is required at the time of registration for Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana :-
  • Residence Proof of Rajasthan.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Janaadhar Card.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Electricity Bill.

How to Apply

• Eligible Farmer Beneficiaries can avail the benefit of Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana by registering themselves.
• Registration of Farmers will be done by filling Application Form of Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana.
• Application Form of Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana is available free of cost at Mehngayi Rahat Camp.
• Government Officials present at Mehngayi Rahat Camp will help the Farmers to fill the application form.
• Janaadhar Card is mandatory to apply for Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana.
• After Registration, Farmers can get their Zero Electricity Bill from the month of June 2023.
• Zero Electricity Bill will generate only for those farmers whose monthly agricultural electricity consumption is below 2,000/- unit per month.
