Uttarakhand Competitive Exam Incentive Scheme

Introduction

• Uttarakhand Competitive Exam Incentive Scheme is the major financial assistance scheme of Government of Uttarakhand.
• Department of Higher Education is the nodal department of this scheme.
• The main objective behind launching Competitive Exam Incentive Scheme is to provide financial support to students of Uttarakhand to fulfill their dreams.
• This scheme is basically started for those young youth who cleared the competitive exam.
• Right now Government of Uttarakhand is providing financial assistance to only NDA/ CDSE written examination cleared youth.
• Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,00,000/- will be provided to eligible youth under Competitive Exam Incentive Scheme to those who cleared written examination of NDA/ CDSE Examination.
• Earlier Rs. 50,000/- was provided under this scheme.
• But in the year 2023, Government of Uttarakhand increased this amount to Rs. 1,00,000/-.
• Every youth who cleared written examination of National Defence Academy or Combined Defence Services Examination are eligible for financial assistance under this scheme.
• It is mandatory to submit the Application of Uttarakhand Competitive Exam Incentive Scheme within 1 month of result.
• Only permanent resident of Uttarakhand are eligible for financial assistance.
• Education of applicant should be completed from educational institute situated within the Uttarakhand State.
• Eligible Applicant can apply for financial assistance by filling the Application Form of Uttarakhand Competitive Exam Incentive Scheme or directly contact the office of Department of Higher Education.

Benefits

• The following benefits will be provided to eligible youth under Uttarakhand Competitive Exam Incentive Scheme :-
  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,00,000/- will be provided on clearing NDA or CDSE Exam.

Eligibility

• The following eligibility is needed to be fulfilled to avail the benefit of Uttarakhand Competitive Exam Incentive Scheme :-

  Applicant should be a Permanent Resident of Uttarakhand. Applicant should cleared any of the below mentioned competitive exam :- NDA. (National Defence Academy) CDSE. (Combined Defence Services Exam) Applicant should completed his/ her following education from Uttarakhand's Educational Institutions :- 12th. Graduation. Post Graduation.

  • Residence Proof of Uttarakhand.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Admit Card of NDA/ CDSE.
  • Result of NDA/ CDSE.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Mobile Number.

How to Apply

• Eligible Youth can apply for financial assistance by filling the Application Form of Uttarakhand Competitive Exam Incentive Scheme.
• Uttarakhand Competitive Exam Incentive Scheme Application Form is available free of cost at the office of Higher Education Department.
• Take the Application Form, Fill it carefully and attach the below mentioned documents with it :-
  • Residence Proof of Uttarakhand.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • NDA/ CDSE Admit Card.
  • NDA/ CDSE Result.
  • Bank Account Details.
• Submit the Application Form of Uttarakhand Competitive Exam Incentive Scheme along with all the documents in the office of Higher Education Department of Uttarakhand Government.
• Application Form and Documents will be scrutinized by the department officials.
• Financial Assistance will be transferred in the bank account of applicant after due verification.
• It is mandatory to apply for financial assistance within one month of result.
