West Bengal Amar Fasal Amar Gola Scheme

Introduction

• Amar Fasal Amar Gola Scheme is the flagship scheme of West Bengal Government for the welfare of Farmers.
• It was launched in the year 2013.
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide financial assistance to farmers to built crop storage structures.
• Department of Agriculture Marketing of West Bengal Government is the nodal department of this scheme.
• In this scheme, Amar Fasal means "My Crop" and Amar Gola means "My Storehouse or My Storage House".
• Under West Bengal Amar Fasal Amar Gola Scheme, Government of West Bengal will provide below mentioned financial assistance for the construction of crop storage houses :-
  • Rs. 5,000/- for the Construction of Small Gola. (Storage Structure)
  • Rs. 12,000/- for the Construction of Pucca Gola. (Storage Structure)
  • Rs. 25,000/- for the Construction of Onion Storage House.
• This crop storage houses is called Gola in West Bengal.
• This Gola is is used by Farmers of West Bengal to preserve the produced crops.
• But due to increase in construction prices, it is not possible for small and marginals farmers to construct the crop gola.
• So to assist the small and marginal farmers to construct gola for crop preservation, Government of West Bengal provide financial assistance to construct the crop storage houses.
• All small and marginal farmers, self help groups and FPOs are eligible to apply for financial assistance to construct crop storage.
• It is mandatory to have a Culitvable Agricultural Land.
• Eligible Beneficiaries can apply for financial assistance by filling Offline Application Form of Amar Fasal Amar Gola Scheme.

Benefits of Scheme

• The following benefits will be provided to Farmers of West Bengal under Amar Fasal Amar Gola Scheme :-
  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 5,000/- for the Construction of Small Gola. (Storage Structure)
  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 12,000/- for the Construction of Pucca Gola. (Storage Structure)
  • Financial Assistance of Rs. 25,000/- for the Construction of Onion Storage House.

Eligibility Criteria

• Beneficiary should be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• Only below mentioned beneficiaries are eligible to apply for Amra Fasal Amar Gola Scheme :-
  • Small Farmers.
  • Marginal Farmers.
  • Farmers Interest Groups.
  • Self Help Groups.
  • Farmer Producer Organisations. (FPOs)
• Beneficiary should have a Cultivable Agricultural Land.

Documents Required

• Documents that are required at the time of applying for financial assistance for construction of storage structure under Amar Fasal Amar Gola Scheme of West Bengal Government are as follows :-
  • Residence Proof/ Domicile of West Bengal.
  • Kisan Credit Card.
  • Aadhar Card.
  • Voter ID Card.
  • Agriculture Land Details.
  • Bank Account Details.

How to Apply

• The only way to apply for Amar Fasal Amar Gola Scheme is by filling the Offline Application Form.
• Offline Application Form of Amar Fasal Amar Gola Scheme is available free of cost in the below mentioned offices :-
  • Block Assistant Agriculture Officer.
  • Village Panchayat Office.
• Fill the Application Form of Amar Fasal Amar Gola Scheme correctly.
• Attach all the required documents with the Application Form.
• Submit the Amar Fasal Amar Gola Scheme Application Form along with all the Documents in the same office.
• Application Form and Documents are subject to scrutiny and will be scrutinised by the concerned officials.
• After Verification, financial assistance under Amar Fasal Amar Gola Scheme will be transferred in the bank account of beneficiary.
