Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal 2.0) Yojana

Introduction

• Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal) yojana was launched by government of Madhya Pradesh in year 2018.
• The main objective of the government in starting this scheme is to provide financial assistance and social security to all unorganized workers.
• Government aims to improve the standard of living for unorganized workers.
• Many of them can't afford good schooling or proper healthcare for their families.
• Hence, the government started the Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana to solve these problems.
• Under the Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal 2.0) yojana benefiaciary will receive benefits through the following schemes:-
  • Funeral Assistance Scheme.
  • General Death Assistance Scheme.
  • Accidental Death Assistance Scheme.
  • Permanent Disability Assistance Scheme.
  • Partial Disability Assistance Scheme.
• All unorganised workers are eligible to apply for Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal 2.0) yojana.
• Those who belongs to below poverty line are also eligible to receive benefits from Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal 2.0) yojana.
• Only those workers whose age falls within the age group of 18 years to 60 years are eligible to apply for this scheme.

Benefits of the Scheme

• Under the Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal 2.0) Yojana following benefits will be provided to the eligible beneficary:-

  Assistance	Amount
  Funeral Assistance Scheme	Rs. 5,000/-
  General Death Assistance Scheme	Rs. 2,00,000 /-
  Accidental Death Assistance Scheme	Rs. 4,00,000 /-
  Partial Disability Assistance Scheme	Rs. 1,00,000 /-
  Permanent Disability Assistance Scheme	Rs. 2,00,000 /-

• The beneficiary will also receive assistance to purchase agricultural equipment under this scheme.
• Free medical care will be provided to the beneficiary and their family members.
• Under the scheme, government also helps the unorganised worker's children to get good quality of education.
• Health insurance will be provided to the accident victims.
• Beneficaries of Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal 2.0) Yojana will also receive a rebate on their electricity bills up to a specified limit.

Eligibility Criteria

• Under the Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal 2.0) Yojana only those will get benefits from the scheme who fulfill the following conditions:-
  • Beneficiary should be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Only those applicants are eligible to apply for Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal 2.0) Yojana who belongs to the below poverty line.
  • All workers employed in the unorganized sector are eligible to apply for the Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal 2.0) Yojana.
  • The beneficiary must be between 18 and 60 years old.
  • Only those applicants who don't receive any benefits from any other state scheme will be eligible to receive benefits under the Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal 2.0) Yojana.

• The following documents is expected to be needed at the time of applying for financial assistance under Himachal Pradesh Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal 2.0) Yojana:-
  • Domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
  • BPL Card.
  • Ration Card.
  • Aadhaar Card.
  • Mobile No.

How to Apply

• Beneficiary can apply for the scheme through the online portal of the Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal 2.0) Yojana.
• Firstly, the applicant registers themselves on the Sambal portal to apply for the scheme.
• After filling in the 'Samagra ID' and 'Family ID,' click on the submit button. Your registration will then be completed successfully.
• After registration, you must log in to apply for the scheme.
• With the help of your username and password, the beneficiary successfully logs into the portal.
• After logging in, the applicant needs to select one of the schemes provided below:
  • Funeral Assistance Scheme.
  • General Death Assistance Scheme.
  • Accidental Death Assistance Scheme.
  • Permanent Disability Assistance Scheme.
  • Partial Disability Assistance Scheme.
• After selecting a scheme, you will need to upload all the required documents.
• After uploading all the documents, your application form will be submitted.
• If you want to check the status of your application form, you need to log in and click on the 'Application Status' section.
• After filling in the 'Application No.' and 'Samagra ID,' you can successfully check your application status.
• After reviewing all the applications, the Madhya Pradesh Unorganized Urban and Rural Workers Welfare Board will provide the scheme amount to the eligible beneficiaries.
